Had the misfortune of hydroplaning my car into a guardrail which caused a bit of damage to the side of my car. Whatever, it happens, so I I figured I'd just move on and find a place to get my car fixed up and operational again. Nucar was pretty friendly, helpful, and seemed to be able to take care of me and help me out with the repairs. I didn't want EVERYTHING fixed, just the stuff to make it operational again. I was going to live with scratches and some smaller dents.
So the repairs are underway. Took about 2 weeks maybe start to finish, which I am not upset about. What I am upset about, however, is how poorly they communicate. If I wanted an update on my car, it was apparently my responsibility to call and ask. Don't even bother signing up for their "email update alerts" because it's absolutely trash. "Your car will be done tomorrow." 2 weeks later..... useless.
Next, I go to pick up my car, and my radio doesn't work now. No power to it at all, and my antenna doesn't power up. This was functioning before I dropped it off. I am sure they blew out the power to it, forgot to ground something, or simply lazy/didn't care and nicked a wire somewhere. I took the car back the NEXT day, and they said "Well we didn't do anything electrical-wise to your car, so you'll have to take this to a sound audio shop to have this fixed". Their answer verbatim. "we didn't do it, so sucks to suck."
Lastly, it's evident they don't calibrate their alignment machine on a regular basis, or even check the alignment once they do it, because I received the car back with it still being off. Don't tell me (and charge me) for doing an alignment when you aren't going to do it right.
