One thing I must acknowledge with this branch is that the manager is amazing. He'll check up on every table to ensure the food is up to standard. With that said, I went here for Burger Week for their Odyseeus burger, which was the following: "A free-range beef patty with scratch Rossini sauce, whipped Boursin, crispy matchstick fries, sherry arugula and double shallot aioli, all stacked on a soft potato bun baked by Le Croissant." Nuburger can always be relied upon for their creative, but not over the top madness some restaurants do for Burger Week, and it's still at sub-20 dollar prices. I liked the cheese and aioli mix in this burger, and the size was very reasonable for the price I paid. read more

They have an assortment of manual items, including bowls and chicken burgers and veggie burgers. We tried their shareable fries and sweet potato fries. These were good, you might want to ask for the french fries to be double fried though. It is a typical strip mall warehouse type space that is a little echoey, and they play music in the background. It is not too noisy and a decent amount of seating. The burgers were OK, supposedly locally grown ingredients. These are supposed to be healthy. I'm not sure how much healthier they are than say a Wendy's burger but two burgers, french fries fries, sweet potato fries and one drink as well as a bag of six cookies came to $45. We wanted to try this place out and it is pretty decent though they were a little light on the lettuce and tomato for me. Flavour wise it is OK nothing special. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. read more

Nuburger - The Mack, The Cheeseburger--the fries were really good, too. Real potatoes, done right! - Burgers Near Me - Winnipeg, Manitoba

went there last week. First time there, all I wanted was a cheese burger. when I got my order it looked terrific. But after the first bite it had this overwhelming garlic aioli sauce slathered over it, that completely overwhelmed the taste of the burger. it also had candied bacon on it that gave it a sweet sugar taste. I'm not saying that anything was wrong with the burger, but it's not what I was expecting. Number one I don't like garlic on a hamburger. Number two candied bacon just makes the burger sweet like sugar was spooned over it. not my idea of a cheese burger sorry I wont be going back. I've never left half my burger on the plate before, just couldn't eat it. read more

I cant lie i have never really been a fan of nuburger in the past because i felt that there prices were Absorberent and the food was mediocre but this is my first time back in a while and i was not disappointed. Really enjoyed both burgers and they step up their fry game for sure, sauce selection is always A1 but the prices still make me have to check my bank account first. Great food great service just wish it was a lil cheaper and i would get it more often read more

Nuburger - Shang awesome and obi wan pierogi burger + shareable fries - Burgers Near Me - Winnipeg, Manitoba

Depends on which location you go too. I have reviewed Nuburger in the past, but had horrible experience at the Forks location and now i think I'm done with them all. Service is the most important thing to me, I had been standing verifying what i was going to order. As I approached the order table, a cubby young woman litterly sprinted in front of me , forcing me to halt and look on in shock. I was horrified and very upset that counter staff did nothing, not even letting girl know, i think this guy is before you. I was so angry i walked by her and mumbled my displeasure under my breath. This should never be allowed, Gen Xers, you need to learn manners read more

I've had Nuburger a couple of times lately, and it's always a hit or miss with them. Half the time their food is really good full of flavor, and the other half the food is just mediocre. They have great potential, but they lack consistency and I hope they would try to fix that. 6/10 read more

Delicious burgers and fries. Would make this place a must stop next time I'm in Winnipeg. read more

Nuburger - Burgers Near Me - Winnipeg, Manitoba

Food is great, staff are terrible, we arrived at 7:40 (closes at 8pm), staff say us coming and quickly turned off the open sign and proceeded to ignore us. There were 5 people that tried to get in before 8, and all were ignored! read more

Have you ever gone out for a burger, and been disapointed by not feeling Hipster enough? Well, let's fix that with Nuburger. They do have a great selection of fresh fancy burgers for all tastes, and great fries as well. Switch out beef for Bison if you just came from Fort Whyte weren't able to sink your teeth into one there. A take out place with an option for a tip is a shameful business practice. Raise your prices and pay your employees more if this is a problem management. (This place is already pretty pricey) What a joke. read more

Nuburger - people sitting at tables in a restaurant - Burgers Near Me - Winnipeg, Manitoba

I love Nuburger and was so happy to see that they have opened a second location near Kenaston and McGillivray! They have been open since late November 2015 even though the sign has been up since the summer. They have arrived in the 'burbs but they have not lost their flavour or cool factor. It's in the stripmall next to the Sobeys with tons of parking. The decor mimics the Osborne location but with much higher ceilings and a much larger kitchen. Though there's not as much seating as I thought there would be in this space. You still order and pay for your meal first and then sit down with a toy figurine and wait for your food to be served. They have those coke machines in this space which is fun. The food is all the same and it was nice to see how busy this place is. Steady stream of people of all ages and families coming into dine and lots of take out too. So glad to see this local eatery expand in the city. I love the burgers here - locally sourced, never frozen, healthy gourmet burgers. You can pick any of the proteins with any of the orders but my faves are mostly the beef or bison patties: - "the Donald" $11.95 Black currant shiraz reduction, omega-3 egg, sautéed mushrooms, balsamic onions, Bothwell cheddar, lettuce, tomato & truffle aioli - "Shang-Awesome" $10.15 LE BURGER WEEK WINNER 2013 Homemade asian slaw, goat cheese, 'hot damn' mushrooms & low fat sweet chill mayo - "the Stamos" $9.1 LE BURGER WEEK WINNER 2015 Roasted pepper & basil aioli, creamy feta, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, zesty cucumber salad - "blue and gold" $8.15 Blue cheese, fancy tomatoes, balsamic onions, lettuce & low fat chipotle -"Shanghai" chicken burger $8.45 Homemade asian slaw & low fat hot chill mayo Service is friendly and food service is pretty fast too. read more

Yum Yum says it all (who would guess that blueberry would be a match on a hamburger - but it was remarkable!) This was my first visit - We have nothing similar in Vancouver and looking at the burgers of my 3 companions I would have loved any of them - but not given up my yum yum this time round!) I shall return before heading home! read more

terrible service. order was 15 minutes late and staff never said anything to me. won't be coming back.

My wife and I are meatetarians but decided to try out Nuburger. Nice selection of burgers but we were disappointed when we started eating. Both burgers had a burnt oven taste and smell, like the smell you get when you set your oven to self-clean. We complained and they gave us new burgers but they weren't any better. Other people in restaurant agreed too but they were too shy/polite to complain. Burgers were pricey so we asked for a refund and left. We go by there a lot and always think about giving them another try sometime but we haven't yet. read more

Let me start by saying that as a vegetarian, the menu selection is amazing! They have such great veggie options but my favourite is the unburger. The fries are excellent and my favourite salad is the purple rain. Though I'm normally getting food to go (they are great with being on time with call ahead orders), the atmosphere in the restaurant is super cool and relaxed. I love this place. read more

Came here for burger week. Great burger. Also picked up a tropic thunder chicken burger this is a normal occurrence when I visit here and it no disappointment. SO good. I drive past their Osborne location for a few years before deciding to try it out, and BOY am I glad we did! To start, their staff is always friendly. Good customer service has totally fallen by the wayside, but I've always been served by wobderful people. Such good, fresh food, with interesting spins on a classic burger. I'm a big fan of the "Stamos", which has sprouts and cucumber on it. Definitely recommend! Best French fries I have ever had, and I would consider myself a fry connoisseur the Coca-Cola freestyle is fun and allows you to make neat drink combinations, like raspberry Sprite. My fiance and I stop by now everyone we are in Winnipeg, and I recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good, simple burger. I love their philosophy of fresh, local ingredients, and there are tonnes of vegan and gluten-friendly options. Stop in, you will not leave disappointed. read more

The food here is great, and innovative. They add the most random ingredients into a burger and you'd never expect it to taste good.. but it tastes great! Dips and fries are hella nice. Only problem is the price. Unlike an average burger place, burgers here cost over $9. Overall good environment. read more
