This is a review that I posted on Facebook review…read more This place is terrible and I wouldn't suggest anyone taking there vehicle there unless you want your car to be there for months. While my car was there they did additional damage to my vehicle. When asked about it, they first said that they didn't know about it. Then they said oh that was part of the damage from the accident. On many occasions I stopped down at the shop to see how much work was completed. Yeah they did very little. This place was recommended to me. However I regret allowing this business to work on my car. My car will never be the same again. Will probably have to trade my car in. Needless to say, I got kicked off the property when I told him I wanted my car and that I was going to take it to a different shop. He said see me in court to get my money back. Which was paid by my insurance, so with that said I won't see you in court, you will see my insurance company in court. And cashing a two party check without my signature, don't think that will go over well. Plus 7000 dollars and you only did about 500 dollars worth of work Plus damaged my car. Anyway, once I got kicked off the property he didn't want to give my car back. Had to call the police. At that point I had a tow truck on the way. Do yourself a favor, don't take it here. If anything take it next door to Executive Automotive. Save yourself a headache.

This shop was recommended by my insurance company. When I got there, they asked me to fill out…read morepaperwork. One of the forms said they wanted me to sign said, in a nutshell, that if they damaged my car, even through their own negligence, they I could not hold them liable. I questioned the receptionist, she wouldn't touch the question i adked about if i was understanding that right, even though it was obvious this had been called out to her before. Instead of answering, she called their business manager, who had the audacity to smile at me and confirm that yes, they wantedme to sign a paperstating that even if they were negligent, and messed my car up, I could not hold them liable for damages. This is NOT standard for the industry, they will try to make you feel like it is. Like this policy is OK. It's not. It likely would not hold up in court, but they are banking that you didn't read it, and that if you did, they could convince you that you have no legal recourse becaused you signed the form. Pure speculation, but because they also have you sign a form saying they can collect from your insurance directly ... well, I suspect there is some insurance fraud going on there, but I have no proof. I do know my claims adjuster was shocked to hear about this form as was the shop I eventually went to ... and as was everyone I told about my experience. Obviously, I didn't sign. I called my claims adjuster and she found me a new shop. Do what you want, but please read and understand all papers before signing and if something doesn't feel right to you, don't sign. Don't accept any explanation trying to convince you that what you feel is wrong is OK. It's not. And no amout explanation about it being their policy or whatnot, will make it right.

My experience with Joe Hudson's Collision Center in Ocala was not just frustrating, it was…read moredangerous and financially damaging. I brought my car in for front-end collision repairs. The first time I was told the vehicle was ready, I immediately noticed the front grille hadn't even been replaced, a basic, visible part of the job. I returned the car and was told it was fixed the next day. But within 24 hours of picking it up, the car began braking on its own while I was driving. A terrifying failure of the collision avoidance system. It was immediately clear something had gone very wrong under the surface. With my insurer's permission, I had the car inspected at Gettel Toyota. That's where I learned the full extent of the damage. Joe Hudson's mishandled the repairs so badly that the car, which was previously repairable, had to be declared a total loss. Structural integrity was compromised, and critical systems were either improperly reinstalled or overlooked entirely. To make matters worse, I later learned that the technician responsible for the initial work was written up and then quit, apparently after the failure to replace the grille. But that raises an even more serious question: Where was the oversight? How did a vehicle with visible issues and critical internal failures pass any final inspection? Where was the shop foreman, the quality control process, or anyone responsible for ensuring the repairs were actually complete and safe? This wasn't just a technician's mistake. This was a breakdown in supervision, accountability, and basic safety standards and I paid the price! While Joe Hudson's may have resolved the matter with my insurance company, they never took responsibility for the impact on me, their actual customer. I trusted them to return a roadworthy vehicle. Instead, I was given back something dangerous, and ultimately suffered a financial loss because of it. They put my life and that of those around me on the road at risk. If you care about your vehicle, your safety, and your time, I strongly recommend rethinking your decision for a shop. Joe Hudson's Collision Center in Ocala did not meet even the most basic standards of professional repair and they did not stand behind their work.

They refused service because I have a rental car!! WHAT???…read more Collision: 12/23/24 Availability of shops in the area: 0% end of December and first week of January. Insurance provided a rental until my car could go to a shop. I was able to be assigned to a shop for 1/8/25. I am currently at the shop and they state that it is company policy to refuse cars for repair when the owner has been in a rental already. So what was I supposed to do, be stuck at home from December 23 to January 8 and then go get a rental?
