I would love to give it 5 stars but I can't deal with the attitude. I do not receive the attitude but i have heard the way this one coworker speaks to another coworker ! If I'm supposed to believe this is an awesome company the people who work here should not be treated the way I heard this nice young lady being talked to! I was coming in as this nice young lady was taking care of a previous customer, she said I got another customer Jeanie I need help please we'll a good 3 mins had passed and the cashier was taking of the previous customer and said Jeanie I have another customer, she then screams "I'm coming! " you could hear the tone in her voice! I came in another day and you could literally hear this cashier cussing (which is really inappropriate) then I called one day to check on My order and this sweet lady looked my name up and I told her I was in the area checking to see if it was ready and she checked "the line" is what she told me and I could hear this other person asking her what she was doing and she said checking for a customer and this other lady had the nerve to say everything is ready after 5 they will get a text (I called between 2-3) I told the lady on the phone she was doing a great job just ignore her! I'm very iffy about using this cleaners again.. if you don't happy employees how you going to have happy customers?! read more

Nu image cleaners has lost their professionalism. Dropped off four chair cushions for cleaning. After three weeks we get a call that they are back in the store uncleaned. Come pick them up. They are a dry cleaning business! Did they forget that! Go elsewhere, there are other options in the area. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR WEDDING DRESS HERE! I dropped my wedding dress off last July, they said it'd be a couple weeks. 2 Months later, I called and they said "oh it's ready, come get it". I never got a call from them saying it's done. I didn't pick it up immediately then the hurricane happened and honestly I forgot about it after all the devastation we dealt with. They called one other time leaving a voicemail saying the dress was ready but NEVER mentioned what would happen if I didn't get the dress at a certain date. I called June 2023 to get the dress, they said yes they have it. I went in a few weeks later to pick it uo, they said sure and went ti look for it. After about 20 min of waiting they said they need to keep looking and they will call me tomorrow. They called and said unfortunately they donated the dress. I was appalled considering it was a wedding dress and not just some button up polo shirt. The only explanation is they said "well someone told you it would be donated" and i said i have the voicemail and rest assured no one on the voicemail said it's getting donated and no one in person ever told me it would be donated. She responds with "well we aren't a storage facility, what do you expect". I said "it's my wedding dress worth THOUSANDS of dollars, I'd expect someone to tell me you're donating my clothes!" Absolutely my fault for not picking it up in a timely fashion but not telling someone you're donating their WEDDING DRESS is unacceptable and unprofessional, not to mention they didn't say sorry, have empathy or have any other repair for the situation. I'll never return and will make sure anyone I know will not return, either. read more

They're the best! I wear 6 white button down shirts weekly for worn and they are constantly getting wine, raspberry sauce, coffee and chocolate stained from work. My work shirts are always clean, pressed and spot free every week. I've been using this business for 2 years and I often tell the employees and my wife that I've never had my shirts look this good from any other dry cleaners I've ever used. Their dry cleaning is great, but it was my first time there and I dropped off short-sleeve work shirts that have been laundered for more than a year. When I dropped them off, I said laundered and wasn't told that they would be dry-cleaned to make a decision if I wanted to leave them (I wouldn't have because the are laundered shirts). Anyway, I just picked up my hugely expensive dry cleaning order that cost nearly $65 more than usual. Not happy and won't be back. I suggest that you tell people if you can't accommodate the request that make so they can make an informed decision. read more

It's not often I leave a yelp review but this was well deserved. I took a few pairs of pants in to be hemmed/ tapered. Prices were fair, staff was friendly and professional. A week or so after i picked up my clothes, I received a hand written note in the mail from Mike. Small gesture that goes a long way -- especially these days. Nu image picks up and drops off my dry cleaning in a timely and professional manner weekly. One time I noticed a button was missing on my top and called to expect a $2 credit towards my next bill...instead they asked me to return the shirt with a description of the button. They special ordered the unique button from Calvin Klein, had it delivered overnight in time to return it to me by my usual weekly delivery date. I remember thinking I should really call and thank them but of course never got around to it. A day or so later, a manager called me to confirm that the button was true to the original. This is exceptional customer service, truly above and beyond! Their dry cleaning quality is superb but also my few experiences with alteration of a dress and mending of a couple comforters have also been great. I highly recommend this business!! read more

My son had a last minute job interview during the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Since I don't have a lot of dry cleaning done and don't have a "go to" dry cleaner, I started calling around to find someone who could do "same day" dry cleaning. Every place I called said the same thing; that due to the pandemic, they were only cleaning two days a week and they couldn't have the suit ready. Thankfully, I called Nu Image, explained the situation, and they were fantastic. The suit got dropped off at 8am and picked up at 4pm. The customer service was fantastic, the price was more than fair (no up-charge for same day service), and the suit looked great. I cannot say enough about these folks. I brought in a very nice dress with very minimal wear and tear ( about 3 hours of wear) on a Thursday that needed to be ready by Saturday for a wedding the same week. It needed to be pressed and repaired. About a row of 6-7 very small beads were missing all in a straight line and some more were beginning to fall out. I asked if they could add replacement beads that I could provide and they said they wouldn't be able to get that work done in that small of a time frame. So instead I asked if they could lock up the thread so no more would fall out they said yes. Pick-up time was the following day Friday. I arrived to pick up my dress and paid for the bill. On final inspection I noticed beading was still hanging off the dress and hadn't been tied down also the dress was still wrinkled in some areas. They told me to return the following day (Saturday) and that the remaining work would be finished. I arrived rushing because I had hair appointments and other errands to run before the wedding only to find the dress in the same state I left it in the previous day. I was very disappointed and the supervisor acted surprised when I asked for a refund and would only give me half of my money back because "some work had already been performed." I work retail so I am not an unreasonable person but the work I asked to be performed was very easy and I believe my dress was probably not even worked on more than 5 minutes The dress was like new to begin with and there was no excuse for that dress not being ready. After my hair and errands were done I found another place called Natasha's Alterations in Lehigh to not only lock up the thread but also put the replacement beads on right in front of me with a needle and thread in about 10 minutes after Nu image said they would not have enough time to do that!! The girls at Nu Image didn't know a needle from a thread and one of them actually told me she couldn't even sew a button onto a coat and that she couldn't help which is why I had to leave the dress till Saturday morning. So all in all these people aren't professional dry cleaners and alterations people and you should take your business elsewhere. read more
