I do wish they'd be able to accept cards for payment as I don't normally carry cash on me, but that's okay. If I remember correctly, I think the dryer was $.25 per every 6 minutes, or something close to that, which I thought was kind of expensive. I do also wish there was more seating. In any case, did it get the job done? Yes.

From the moment I walked in the woman there (I can only assume it was the owner) acted as if I was inconveniencing her; no one else was there. She didn't say hello or ask how she could help, she just looked at me. I had several items with me and said that I needed to have them altered - she just kept staring at me. So, I pulled out the most complicated one and asked if she could add some sleeves to a dress. She said "You want to add sleeves to that dress?!" I said "Yes, is that something you can do?" She simply looked at me with disgust and said "No." That was it. She never touched the dress or asked me if she could help in any other way - just "No." I was a bit dumbfounded as I never expected anyone to be so brusk and short like that. I thanked her and said I would need to find someone else, she shrugged her shoulders and she walked away to the back before I even had my items gathered up off the counter. Won't be making another attempt at getting any kind of courteous service at Amanda's, unfortunately.

I called first to check on availability and the owner/worker assured me if I came now it was available. He was waiting in the doorway when I arrived and came to my car, carried it I and placed it in the wash and selected the appropriate setting. He then got me change and started the machine. The building looks like a typical old laundromat on the outside but is as nice as possible on the inside. There are hanging baskets with fake flowers and little American flags in each basket. On sight there was a separate room with several chairs and large shelves of laundry supplies, (not a vending machine with tiny boxes) When the dryer stopped there were plenty of wheeled baskets available. The owner/worker was all business but still friendly & helpful. This Sunday chore went by surprisingly quick. Recom
