I have been attending and utilizing this cleaners for a number of years, the old management was superb and great. The new management is terrible. The attendants especially the short asian male named Jin or Kim is rude, disrespectful, impatient and he verbally attacks the patrons when the dry cleaning isn't on par with the cleaners standards. I brought in a jacket to be cleaned in which they charged me $35 to clean and the job was terrible and not to my liking. I pointed out concerns and poor job and he verbally snapped at me so I proceeded to snapped back at him. I gave him a second attempt to clean jacket which in my opinion he didn't bother to attempt to clean it. Spots were still there, his customer service skill is atrocious . They lost a customer and I don't recommend them. I will not be going back and I don't recommend this dry cleaners services. They operate in a predominantly African American white and blue collar working neighborhood and they should be more respectful. Be ware. read more

STAY AWAY! I was charged $70 for them to hem my dress and take in the sides a little (which was fine). However, when I returned to pick up the dress, they had taken off so much from the front that it was almost at mid-shin! I pointed out their mistake and asked for it to be fixed. A younger guy who works there came out yelling, cursing, and being completely rude. They ended up removing the entire hem they had originally done, and the only alteration was the sides, which still cost me $70. I went to pick up my dry cleaning. The young lady who served me and took my payment was fine. I left and hung my dry cleaning in the back of my car. I got in my car and sat for a few minutes as I was getting directions to my next destination. This little Asian man (presumably an owner or worker) walked in front of my vehicle, while in a parking spot, and gave me a dirty look. He comes back to knock on my window and tells me to leave. I told him that I just supported his business and he has the nerve to approach me as if I had been sitting there for hours. I wasn't going to argue with him so I rolled up my window. He then gets his car to block me in. I said ok, I had time today, and turned my car off and proceeded to scroll through my phone. He comes out again and moves his car an inch, still blocking me in, and goes back inside the cleaners. I said ok, I'm not going to engage in a physical or verbal altercation. After a few minutes he comes out and moves his car. I will never support this business again and the sad truth is that it won't matter to him because there will be others who will. My husband dropped his pants off on a Monday and paid for alterations at the same time ..He was told he could pick them up on Saturday. Saturday comes, the pants aren't ready and infact, they're not even in the building.. I asked the owner,nasty little young guy,(probably the son), could he get his money back because the pants were not ready and they weren't even in the building. he told me it doesn't work like that ,and I'd have to wait till Monday...I felt because he didn't honor the agreement, we should get the work done(zipper repair) for free with our money reimbursed. $15 New Management is the worse!!!!! read more

They have same day drop-off service if you come in early enough and also do alterations. The staff is friendly. You'll never get hung up picking up or dropping your cloths off. On Thursday July 26 2018 I went to Nu-clear cleaners on 192-10 Linden Blvd Saint Albans . there was an Asian lady she was very nasty to me ,because I was asking her why she was over charging me for a dress I brought to dry cleaning . The reason I was asking her that because she was charging me a higher price than what the other employees used to charge me for the same dress .She got very disrespectful , and very nasty , and I had been going to that cleaners for years. She was throwing my dress at me , and she said she will not dry clean my dress ,and an employee told me she was the owner. I find that very ridiculous for a business owner to act like that. If I could give Nu- clear cleaners zero stars that what I will give . She should never treat customers like that. read more

First off let me say I am not a hater or writing a review out of spite. Secondly let me say I can understand tailoring is not easy and not everyone can do it, and lastly when your paying someone to tailor your clothes to your body they should do just that. Now on to my story. I have given my business to Nu Clear cleaners on Linden Blvd several times in the last year due to a 15 lb weight loss. Now I could not salvage any of my old work clothes so I purchased new work clothes . Let me stress I work in a professional environment so I have to look the part. That being said I brought several items to this establishment over this period of time. Some of them would come out fine others hit and miss, for example I had several shirts tailored some fit just to the specification I asked for when she sized and pinned them... others I wound up looking like Prince in his heyday.WAY TO TIGHT! That I let slide. Now I also brought several pants to their "tailor" who always acts stressed.. she's overworked and has a chip on her shoulder from the time you ask her to fit you. So on this occasion I had a pair of Hugo Boss dress slacks I brought in as well as 2 other pairs of Varvatos slacks. She tells me not to bother trying them on as she will fit them the same way she does the other two. Ok.. I say she must know what she's doing. I pay first as required pick them up two weeks later and another week passes before I actually put them on for work. When I do they're DRAGGING ON THE FLOOR!!! Of course the only time I can bring them back is on the weekend (Saturday as there are not open on Sundays and they close before 6:30 PM).I bring them back, try them on for her and tell her look at them they are too long. She tells me "I should have tried them on and brought them back"...DUH that's what I am doing now! Regardless if it's the same day or a week later I have the receipt you did these pants please fix them. Needless to say it became a big thing because "I was trying to get over". Question how do you get over on a pair of pants you paid to get tailored and not coming out the way you requested and asking for them to FIX THEM???? Needless to say NEVER EVER take your clothes to this Cleaners/Tailor if you expect professionalism or common sense. Unless you like looking like a Sloppy Prince! read more
