Top notch service from Fernando. My husband put air in my tires and just eyeballed it because he couldn't find his tire gauge. Well, guess what ... he overfilled them. By the time I realized it he was long gone to work. I drove to NTB to see if they could help me. Fernando happily fixed the air in all four tires and wouldn't let me pay. He said as long as I was safe that was all the payment he needed. I will definitely be back to NTB next time I need tires or a battery. read more

Came into NTB a few weeks ago to purchase a new tire. It was a Saturday morning, they did not stock that particular tire but could order it and have it there that afternoon. I knew the tire was unique but I wanted it to match the other 3. I was impressed with their service. Today 3/6/25, I had to return for a patch in another tire (nail) and they kindly waived the charge as a loyal customer. I came in November to replace my tires. They talked me into getting an alignment and my spare tire replaced as well. When I picked up my truck at the end of the day they mention that they could not put my spare tire on. They told me that if I found the special tire key and came back they would put the tire on for me. Shortly after I got a nail in my tire bit they weren't able to help me. I get it that they are busy, so I had help elsewhere since it was an emergency. I searched and searched for the key and 4 months later of hard research I got one. I came in and waited for a long time for someone to show up in the front. Finally he came and looked up my number, but for some reason want to check my air pressure on the outside tires and how many miles etc. After waiting a bit I see him outside leaning on my truck talking to his friends. I get that you can be too busy to give people service, but when you chit chat and shoot the stuff instead of helping a customer out..why am I a customer?? Big waist of time and money. I was on my way home from work when my back right tire had a blowout. I had to pull off on the side of the highway and change it for my spare I had in trunk. I looked on my phone for the closest tire shop and the first place I saw was NTB .5 miles away. I gave them a call at around 5:52, knowing they close at 6 and explained my situation to a man named Ivan. He was super understanding and considerate and told me to, "Come on by", they'd stay around a bit longer to help me out! I ended up getting there around 6:05 and Ivan met me at the door with a smile. I was apologetic for making them stay longer and he shrugged it off as no issue. He told me pull my car around to the bay and they made sure all my tires were good before I headed home! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid at all cost. I came there with an almost flat tire, and asked them to fix it. They said they could help. I left my car there. Then NTB called and told me I need to replace all tires. I told them that I need to think about it some more, and that I want to have them fix the one tire for now. They told me that is already taken care of. When I arrived, they told me they couldn't fix my flat tire after all. They also told me that they tried to put my spare on, which was a lie. The spare is inside my trunk. I had a bunch of stuff in my trunk. None of the stuff in my trunk had moved an inch. He told me I could drive home with this, which was another lie. After driving a short distance, I double-checked the tire and it was now completely flat. I called AAA and had it towed to a responsible tire shop. This is a horrible shop, run by a dishonest person. read more

On January 14, 2025, I went to the NTB -Carrollton, on Trinity. I had a dead battery, which I jump started and on the 15th I had to take my wife to her Heart Doctor. Needless to say, I did not trust this battery and I knew I might need to replace it. The wonderful NTB Tech, Jonathan, instead of just selling me a battery, as would be custom at other stores, told me first he was going to check my battery and see if that was in fact the problem. He then reported to me that, yes, as I suspected the battery was bad and would need to be replaced. The price was affordable and the service was outstanding. I recommend the NTB in Carrollton, Texas very highly. Every time I have gone to them for my vehicle needs they have been extremely customer orientated and I have yet to have any problem with their products or their service. Great people, great prices, quality products and outstanding service. What more could anyone ask for! read more

We had my dad's wheelchair van repaired by a private mechanic (not NTB). Shortly after leaving the mechanic's shop, he contacted us to let us know he had forgotten to tighten the lug nuts. I immediately called NTB and of course it was right before closing time. They told us to come on to the shop. They helped my father make sure his vehicle would be safe for his nearly 200-mile trip home - and they did it with a smile and the service mindset we've come to appreciate from NTB. I work around the corner from this location and only needed one tire mounted on a wheel. I went to 2 other tire shops in the area who refused to mount the tire (its a 39" off road tire). I came on a Wednesday about mid morning. All the techs were working on vehicles and based on the schedule board for appointments inside, they had a full day ahead of them. Only needing one tire mounted, i asked the service manager Caleb E. If it was something they could handle, and that i would even leave the tore and come back later if need be. He immediately took the tire and wheel out back, and in less than 5 minutes had it mounted up and ready to go for me. I really appreciate a manager and employee who can recognize a quick simple job and squeeze it in and knock it out in a timely manner. I've visited several NTB locations and I have to say this one is my favorite. They can get a little busy sometimes but everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. I recently had an oil change, rotation, and a state inspection. They let me know about some suggested maintenance items for my JEEP and they even added a coupon for the oil change when I forgot to bring mine. One of the associates was sanitizing the door handles when I came in, so that gave me some peace of mind on the store's cleanliness during my visit. Highly recommend this location! read more

I came in here one day at about 6:00 PM after having a tire go flat driving home from work. I was super worried about getting my tire replaced that night since the closed at 7:00 PM after already having been told they didn't have slots at other shops. Not only were they able to get my tire taken care of that night, I was in and out in about 45 minutes! Unheard of when it comes to my tire shop experiences in the past. Everyone was very friendly and were really transparent about prices and options. I will definitely be back for my vehicle needs! read more

Made an appointment for an oil change online the website states; change oil, tire rotation, brake check in under an hour, arrived at NTB Carrollton trinity Mills and was told it would be 3-4 hours. I was already there so I had someone pick me up. 3 hours later I go back to get my truck, oil change was done but with a synthetic blend not the full synthetic I requested, and the tires were not rotated the brakes not checked they didn't even look at my air filter. So this might now be the most fair review I've given but I can't stand being lied to. I've got to their stores all over for tires for my Camaro and I've never had a problem at any of their locations, granted I'm usually buying much more expensive tires. So today I had a flat and could not readily get to my spare because I have a car full of clothing and blanket donations for a few places. I figured I'd get it patched and be on my way so following the advice I was given by Autozone I bought a can of fix a flat and an air pump then when it was ready I headed out that way. Upon arriving everything seemed normal as usual until a guy came in without a mask and they let him come up to the register area and talk to them. Apparently our safety during this pandemic isn't a big concern but I digress. I had the tire looked at when I was at Sam's Club and they said yes it could be patched but they only patch tires they sell. No biggie I'll get a better deal at NTB anyway and since I'm getting a different car in December the patch would be fine for me. The lady named Haley, I'm unsure if I spelled her name right as she told me her name but if I was going to write a negative review then her name was different. Although intended as a joke I don't particularly find it funny. She said that my tires were at 2/32nd's and that you couldn't patch/plug tires that have that little tread. Then she started to explain to me the options I had and I told her I only needed tires to last until December but as usual and I don't really mind she tried to sell me tires that I didn't need. Then begrudgingly she told me about a cheaper pair and I took those. I went home to wait and poured over their website and could not find any information anywhere about what she told me in regards to this 2/32nd's rule or policy. When I came beach I asked her where it was located and if she could show it to me and she said she couldn't just that all major companies follow this guideline. When I asked to see the tires they showed me that they were indeed at 2/32nd's not that I would know but from what they pointed out I'll take it as the truth. As the manager was talking to me he said that I could have indeed had it patched somewhere else they just don't do it there. This is in stark contrast to what I was told earlier where his employee said that it simply could not be patched/plugged. I could've just taken it somewhere else and saved money but instead I took what the expert with the 55 hours on tires told me. Well now I have two new tires that I didn't really need and have been informed that apparently the dealership has not been rotating my tires recently if ever and that my alignment was out which is odd as I just had it checked Monday and did not drive it since then. This NTB is dishonest and I will not buy tires from them again. I bought 4 new tires plus the road hazard insurance in December of 2019. With that, they also rotate my tires for free. Every time I get the tires rotated, they try to sell me something I do not need, like shocks at over $1,000. Every time. Most recently, I had a very flat tire that needed replacement, and they tried to sell me a whole new set of tires. My tires have only gone 25,000 miles in two-and-a-half years, which is only half their life. Plus, the NTB road hazard insurance is worthless. They wanted to give me $28 toward the one new tire I needed. Do not make the same mistake I did. Go to Firestone or Discount Tire or someplace reputable. read more

I purchased new tires and they charged me for rotate tires which I was not notified, worst of all they did not rotate the tires.

I had an appointment for 430 . When I came in the service desk lady said they are running a few hours behind. I said forget it and she asked if I wanted another appointment for tomorrow? Why would I do that when you did not honor the first appointment? Waisted my time driving there and will never give them an opportunity to service my vehicle. Why fill out all that information on line and can't even receive a simple text that they are running behind? A half hour behind I understand but a few hours is ridiculous! read more
