When I called to make an appointment in June/July 2024, the earliest appointments available were in September 2024 so we asked Erica to reserve them. However, Erica was very kind and called us as soon as two earlier appointments became available in August and we took them. Everyone of the staff at Dr. Cecil Abraham's dental practice is very polite, professional, kind, friendly and helpful from Erica, who received and checked us in and offered us bottled water, and who is an uncanny doppelgänger for Sarah Jessica Parker, to Lily, the Cuban-Spanish hygienist who did a great job cleaning our teeth and giving us fluoride treatments, and Dr. Cecil Abraham himself, who was friendly, patient and kind, had an excellent bedside manner and explained our individual dental health situations to us and suggested my son have all of his wisdom teeth removed soon as they are all impacted like mine were when I had them removed some 30+ years ago. Honestly, this is the nicest dental practice that my son and I have ever been to! Since there are no strict guidelines as to when a cavity begins, a doctor that wishes to extract money from patients will diagnose the smallest discoloration or plaque build up as a cavity. The problem with this practice is that once the tooth is filled, the tooth will never be as strong and viable as it was as a natural tooth. The bonding was uneven and uncomfortable -- I even had to file my own teeth at home with a nail file just to make them feel smooth enough to function. That should never happen after professional dental work. Throughout the appointment, I felt pressured and steered toward getting veneers instead of the repair I requested. It really seemed like the entire process was more about pushing a more expensive treatment than providing quality care. In my experience, it felt like a setup to make the bonding look bad so I'd feel forced to pay for veneers later. I tried to resolve things through the financing company CHERRY and got no help. I am now exploring legal and regulatory action as the situation has caused me unnecessary stress, cost, and dissatisfaction. In my opinion, this was a very negative experience. Please be cautious and do your research!
