The owner and her staff are so sweet and friendly when you go in. They can tell you where/who basically everything is from. It turned out perfectly and after a few washings still looks new. However, minus one star overall due to the second T-Shirt that only had a large Jeep logo on the front. Cool shirt and logo, but once I actually looked at it later that night (I was in a hurry, store was about closing, and it had begun pouring rain), the logo / screen printing was erratic. I did not notice it at first because I was in a hurry and it almost initially looks natural, like a "worn" logo. So ,doesn't actually look horrible, just not quite supposed to be like that. Was never washed, but that logo never completely initially adhered to the T-Shirt. Picture included of the faulty logo T-Shirt and other properly printed T-shirt for reference. Workers were pretty helpful. So, of course, inspect your merchandise better than I did before leaving! Other than that, pretty cool store overall. The baby Red-Eared Slider turtles were amazing! Reminded me of years ago when an ex-girlfriend surprised me with a tank of 3 of them for a birthday. If I lived locally, I would have purchased a pair! They're really cool and you don't see them often.

It was funny having pigs under the house sleeping. I sat on the porch and listened to them snore, it was a riot. I've never heard a pig snore. The animals are well taken care of, the people working there are so nice and helpful and booking a highland cow cuddling session was amazing. I was then greeted by the lady in the store and walked towards the back to check out the rest of the books. While it might seem tiny because it has a narrow hall, it does open up to a room filled with of books and as you go all the way to the back, you'll see the magical kids section. I really loved the kids section, the way it was decorated made you feel like you were no longer in a bookstore. Overall this is a great shop with some neat books, cute finds and beautiful plants. The books are also affordable, they have a shelf full of discounts, which is great! If I were closer I'd probably spend most of my time there.

Not only is there a wide selection of thoughtfully curated books, but they stock home decor, jewelry, totes, and other related book accessories as well. What I love most about this bookstore is the amazing community they've created through their partnership with other local businesses, artisans, and authors. They host fun events, book clubs, children's events, and have managed to create a truly safe place for their customers. The owner, the staff, and customers are all welcoming and friendly.
