What an interesting and nostalgic place. Walking in feels like stepping into a 1950s business…read more I wanted to get a custom art stamp made for a friend's wedding. My husband drew the sketch, I scanned it and emailed it to Barnards. They gave me a cost estimate for the size I wanted and the time frame to pick it up. I believe it was a few days turn around. They also sold me an ink pad and I picked up a little self-inking "lips" stamp out of their glass case upon pick up. I think they make many other things like office name plates. The place is huge and centrally located but you can easily drive past it over and over. When you check out they use a stamp about 3 times and I love that sound. "PAID" "PICKED UP" etc, all over your old school receipt.

Now I call Sears to see what to do and they can't tell me anything but no you will not be getting them at all and they can't tell me what to do. These are memories that I can't get back from that day. And who is to say if I do order them on-line that I will not get them again and they do not have the same backgrounds that I purchased that day in the store. They need to honor what they did and get everyone there pictures that they have already paid for and assure them in someway that we will be receiving these instead of us wondering. That is the only studio we have ever used in the past 3 years since my son was born. It is sad if they knew there company was that bad and still kept servicing people and taking there money and then just shutting down without a warning they could have at least gave their dedicated employees and customers some kind of notification and a date that they would be able to receive the pictures that they did pay for
