I love it! I feel like once in awhile they change their layout but the most RECENT change up? Amazing! Please don't change it. My favorite are the giant snakes (that used to be in the back and harder to see) but now I can see them up front and center! They are huge! I came a few weeks ago when one of the staff members were handling the green tree python and ugg so beautiful in person (I watch a lot of snake videos on YT). Anyways, I'm getting carried away, I initially wanted to leave a review for my actual purchase of F/T rats and mice. I still remember the first time I came in and I asked for some mice... the sweet girl goes to the back and brings me a LIVE MOUSE! I'm like "ooooh no no no, I need frozen please!" Haha! Ever since then, I make sure to clarify I need frozen. My hognose is a great eater and never had any issues and before I found this place, I had to order in bulk like 50-100... and it was not cheap nor did I have the space. When I got my ball python, there was no way I was going to be ordering 50+ rats and you know how they can be... when I first got him he ate 2 times and decided to go on a hunger strike for 6 months... good thing I didn't have 48 more rats in my freezer lol! Both my snakes eat great which means they really take care of their rodents and I have been a happy customer for the past 1.5ish years? If you're looking for terrarium safe plans they also have a great plant setup you should look at! The other thing I adore about this place is the diversity he had. Jeweled lacerta, Abronia, Chinese cave geckos, Axolotls and way more! The owner's actually knowledgeable about morphs, housing requirements, and more that's important as a reptile shop owner. While talking he mentioned how until he's more knowledgeable about that animal, he won't be selling any until he felt like he was experienced enough to teach people what he knew and more. That's the sign of a person who truly cares about that animal and where they will end up! :) If you're looking for a shop with all captive bred reptiles, and a more diverse selection, then you should definitely check Kemenatris Creatures out! When we were getting our second fish, there was one beta in a small cup that was dead and moldy...I had to give the cup with the dead fish to the staff. Seems like they don't check on the fish like they should. I feel so bad for the fish there. I really hope the owner sees this and makes some changes. This makes me so sad. They have people working there that are clearly not educated enough to care for fish. Personally, I don't think this place should be selling any live animals as they don't take good care of them.

Last year, our kids were given two gerbils who were around four years old, so when nature took its course (RIP Nibbles and Snugs), they were heartbroken. After holding a memorial service and cleaning out the cage, they looked up at me with hopeful eyes and a "Dad... do you think maybe...?" Yeah yeah, OK. There are lots of big box pet stores in the area, but I'm making the assumption that a smaller local shop likely treats their animals better and hopefully sources more ethically too. In any case, I'd rather shop local when I can and the prices are competitive. I called to see if they had any gerbils available and Aela let us know that they had some males in store. She said to ask for her when we came by. About an hour later, we dropped by and found Aela. She brought the gerbils out in their enclosure and was great not only with the animals, but my very excited children as well. She answered our questions and seemed to really enjoy her job, which makes it so much more fun for everyone involved. She took care of getting them in a box with some bedding and sent us off with smiles all around. I'm so thankful that Denny's is part of the neighborhood, and for great employees like Aela who make the experience fun.

I found them to be well-stocked with items for my furry kitty friend, both food-wise, but also in all other respects (bowls, toys, scratchers, climbing trees, etc.). Staff was friendly and very helpful with all of the questions we had. This will definitely be my go-to pet store on Bainbridge going forward.
