I have sensitive teeth, Dr. Whitman and her assistant used such care my teeth were not sensitive at all. Dr. Whitman is a doctor that cares about her patients. --Dr. Whitman took time to explain what my option were for future dental work but did not pressure me to decide right away. (Invisalign or Braces) --I also got a whitening treatment. Wow what a difference that made between my teeth cleaning and the whitening. I have a new smile. --My husband agreed this was the best dentist we have had and will be looking forward for our next visit. I would never say that in the past. --Not a reason to see a dentist but I love the art work in this office. I was in the first room, I found something new in the painting the more I looked at it. Dental Office followed all safety procedures for Covid. --Everything was cleaned before I arrived. --My husband and I were the only patients in the office. --Everyone hand sanitized before touching anything. --Our temperature was taken. --Office staff had N95 mask on the whole visit, plus other protective gear. I am sure there was more I didn't see. My safety and the staff safety were a big concern and consideration during my visit. I felt completely safe.

After confirming the surgery date we were surprised to learn just days before that they had scheduled it incorrectly from the start, forcing us to drive an hour further to get a surgery date a day later then we hoped. Terrible communication and organization. Every interaction with them left us feeling frustrated. We do not plan on returning nor would I ever recommend this office.

I can't say enough positive things about their practice, highly recommend. **2021 Original Review** Our experience with Dr. Elosta at Lansdowne Family Dental has been second to none. My husband and I recently moved from out of state and we were under the impression that our dental care was adequately addressed. I started having issues with a tooth in March, so I went to Neo Smiles in Herndon for an evaluation. They were professional and filled my cavity but advised that it was very near the root and that I had a number of other issues that needed to be addressed as well as a poorly done crown that needed to be replaced. Needless to say I went for a second opinion and was lucky enough to find Dr. Elosta's office. He took the time to walk me through the work I would need, examined the filling provided by Neo Smiles (which he said was well done) and addressed my significant dental anxiety. I'm happy to say that I've completed my entire course of treatment and that I have complete faith in Dr. Elosta's skill and bedside manner as a dentist. Every other doctor I have, has a voicemail setup that says at the end:"in case of emergency call 911". Dr. D's office offers a phone number for an emergency and when I had the worst pain I've ever experienced in my mouth on a long holiday weekend, they answered my plea for help and rushed a prescription that Stopped my my trauma in just a few short hours. He is an absolute Saint and there is no one like him in the medical field that I've ever encountered. On top of that his staff such as Kathleen are incredible. If You have gum issues, need an implant, or an extraction, there is absolutely no better place in the Washington DC area than the office of Dr.Doppalapoudi! In these troubled times, it's nice to see some exceptions to the cold mercenary world out there. It gives you that warm fuzzy feeling of hope to know that a truly compassionate Doctor is still i out there!
