This is the worse ER in the entire state, this place is a perfect example why our health care…read moresystem needs a total restructure across the board, I called to my insurance before I went there to be sure that it was in network, which it was. I was in so much paint due my cappella dislocated, so I want to get attention ASAP, it was a big mistake from many all related to this place, it seems like Baylor owns only the building, but all the doctors, medical tech, and administrative personal are outsourced, I got like three different bills from companies I haven't heard of course out of network, so I have to paid out of pocket despite the fact that I asked the person at the from desk if all services were covered by my insurance, which they replied: "yes", what a rip off, I can believe this is a hospital, my insurance was charged with $2500 for the ER plus $ 700 for the doctor and on top I get $518 for an exam. Next time I'll go across 35 a real médical center Huguley Hospital, I updating my reviews because they look into my case analyzed the facts and corrected the problem, I do appreciate that and I'm satisfied with the resolution.

What I want from the VA I am asking for more than an apology. I want accountability, answers, and appropriate care going forward. I want the VA to acknowledge the seriousness of what happened and explain what was done to protect me after I harmed myself. I also want an opportunity to participate in developing an appropriate treatment and safety plan going forward. I am a veteran who was already struggling with homelessness, low self-esteem, lack of sleep, medication issues, and significant emotional distress. When I reached a point where I attempted to hurt myself, I needed the VA to recognize the seriousness of that crisis and respond accordingly. Instead, I felt increasingly alone and that my situation was being managed rather than understood. I am asking the VA to listen to me, investigate what happened, provide me with the answers I deserve, and make sure I receive safe and appropriate care going forward. Respectfully, Rachel Starn Veteran [Last four of SSN / VA file number, if appropriate] [Phone number] [Email] [Date]
