My daughter started going to Elite Therapy when she was 18 mos .old for speech, physical and occupational therapy and they were great with her. The overall experience was great. She had her last session when she was 12 years old. I will always be great full for everything Elite Therapy Center has done to help my child make those strives that she has made. It has also been my experience that if we as parents would apply the things that the therapist do with our children at home would help them meet their goals. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. This place is a scam. They put my child in a swing for 20 mins and called that "speech therapy". My son did a month of twenty min therapy sessions (they don't do a full 30 mins like they claim) and they did the same thing every time--and nothing has changed as far as my child talking. It cost me over $320 for nothing! Big waste of time and money. It feels like I'm paying them to babysit my son for 20 mins twice a week. The therapists are nice, but they didn't really put in the work that is needed to help my child. I feel completely taken advantage of. read more

Our kids love going to Elite and over the years they have gone for speech, occupational, and food therapy. We stopped for a while due to covid, but are back on track now. I definitely see improvement in important skills such as handwriting and reading, as well as with upper body strength, social skills, and willingness to try new foods. Thank you! read more

We went for over a year. During that time we have dealt with two therapists leaving and having to get adjusted with a new one. The billing manager is incredibly rude. I had to deal with months of receiving an incorrect statement (she never applied my payments) and instead of being apologetic became very rude and always placed blame on others. I don't think the best interest of the child is taken into account but more about making money. We have switched to a new therapy center. read more

Within our experience, this center is professional, prepared, compassionate and very thorough. They have worked extensively with out child to help her progress and grow through speech therapy and occupational therapy. My son has been going to Elite since January 2016, and they have been wonderful. He has speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. He was diagnosed with ASD at three years old, and the improvement in his speech and motor skills have been amazing. The owners are friendly, the staff is friendly, and the therapists are fantastic. I've had some people tell me they didn't have the most positive experience but as someone who goes there every day of the week, I can say my experience has been fantastic. If you're looking for someone to help your child because of a speech delay, gross or fine motor skills delay, etc.-I urge you to call and make an appointment here. My son has blossomed under the care he's received at Elite. They are phenomenal, in my opinion. read more

Elite Therapy Center is a team of over 70 certified therapists providing physical, occupational and speech therapy services for children ages birth through 21 years with all abilities in SIX locations including: Waco, Harker Heights, Gatesville, Temple, Killeen, West and surrounding areas. Our staff provides ELITE speech, occupational, and physical therapy services as well as specialty services including feeding, sports and ortho therapy, visual tracking and ADHD therapy. Established in 2015.

Heather Field, Speech Pathologist, Lauri Cole, Speech Pathologist, and Kari McKown, Occupational Therapist, are the co-owners and directors of Elite Therapy Center. Each were called over a decade ago to serve children and families through physical, occupational and speech therapies and have a long history of treating children with disabilities, intellectual challenges and behavioral disorders. Together as professionals and friends, these three servant-leaders created Elite Therapy Center, founded on the principle of helping families on a journey of hope and healing. Elite Therapy Center is a team of over 60 certified therapists and administrative professionals offering helping our clients achieve their full potential by providing quality and comprehensive treatment plans tailored to meet their unique needs. Our team approach promotes collaboration with families, physicians, and schools.

Kari McKown, MOT, OTR, and speech pathologists, Lauri Cole, M.S., CCC-SLP, and Heather Field, M.S., CCC-SLP, co-owners and directors of Elite Therapy Center, have a long history of treating children with disabilities, intellectual challenges and behavioral disorders. Together as professionals and friends, they decided it was time to take a stand in front, behind and alongside families who needed healing. We have several very nice caring nurses & aids .... not enough GOOD aids for night & weekend shifts...and it only takes 2-3 days for the wheels to fall off, pictures are worth 1000 words! Hope you check YELP before picking this place! It is like lipstick on a pig! BTW I suspect the "good" reviews to be staff!
