Dr Loden is very compassionate when treating me and my family. He took his time to really get to know me as a patient. He has always treated me w respect and patience. I have to admit sometimes I can be a challenging patient to treat but Dr Loden has continued to help me work toward the health goals I have wanted. I can say I am taking less medicine than I was before for diabetes. In investing time to get to know me as a patient he knows what to do to motivate me as a patient and that has helped me out. The staff is usually very nice and professional. I respect them and appreciate them as well. Grateful to have dr Loden as my PCP. He is truly a blessing in my life.

About 16 years ago my kids insurance changed and the doctor we had at the time didn't accept it. I…read morewas left scrambling to find a new doctor for my kids and was given a list of possible doctors that might take it. After spending 2 days and many many calls later I came across Providence clinic and when I called was told none of the doctors were taking new patients !!! 20 minutes later as I sat on my bed feeling frustrated and crying I received a call back from a nurse named Maria who informed me that if I could have my 2 oldest there within half an hour a doctor by the name of Dr. Julian was willing to see them. I raced up there and was seen by Dr. Julian we became his patients and never looked back !! He became the go to doctor for our entire family. Even after my eldest son got married and when he and his wife had their first child he became his doctor and 3 years later he became his little brothers doctor as well. My kids are all grown now and I moved to Austin but continued to make the drive to Waco for doctor visits with him. We love Dr. Julian and will always be grateful for being such a wonderful doctor & human being. A special thanks goes out to Tiffany & Jackie who go above and beyond whenever I need anything at all. Most people wouldn't go the lengths they do !! Forever grateful !

Mrs. Wilcox is ALWAYS booked full, there is a reason you can get in with Mr. Wilcox so quickly (noted below), and the newest (and I believe youngest Doctor (female, very kind.)) is mostly available because she is newer to the practice?? She'll fill up fast though! I've met both husband and wife team, they will accept you for a quick 10 min appointment if you need it. Mrs. Patricia Wilcox likes to talk. A lot. Her appointments may take a while, so be prepared for a wait before she'll get to you. She is kind, open, and willing to discuss your intimated crude details of your appointment without judgment. The strange green puss coming out of your toe wound, that smells like cinnamon rolls? Yup, she'll talk about it. She is infact worth the wait. Mr. Wilcox is rude, he'll let you talk about your symptoms, and then write down the wrong ones, (which he's done more than once with me. If you ask they'll give you a print out.) he is eager to get to the next appointment so if you want something prescribed without necessity, see him. My experience with him is poor at best. You'll feel stone walled and ignored in your own appointment. Recently they've hired a very young looking new doctor, she is helpful, listens to your concerns, and is likely to write you off if she thinks it hypocondria. She'll push the idea of medication after you've stated you'd only take a holistic approach to your diagnosis, and then blather on about some "facts" she read on The internet (that I happened to read too, you're not special because you've got M.D. attached to your name kiddo) I would not recommend her. The Front desk staff (without falter!) is very nice and amazingly helpful, they've been through the ringer with my insurance being such a pain in the ass, and they've stayed very patient.

The second time, not so much. She was very cold and unfriendly and spent ess than 2 minutes with me. I felt like I was imposing on her. Maybe she was having a bad day, it happens. Her staff are very friendly. They have a tendency to put you in hold on the phone and forget about you so I usually have to call at least two times before I can actually speak to someone.

As well as that system does not allow you to state what is needed by the company you work for requesting info needed you just send the file and that is it. there is no comunication at alll with the provider.

If I hadn't had to already pay the copay upfront then I would have walked out right then. Ended up not making it to class on time.
