But - within just a couple of months, one seam that didn't appear to have been knotted right in the first place started to come apart. Owner is insisting on charging again to come out to fix it. He'll tell you we agreed that there was no guarantee on his work, and that's true - but that assumes it was done competently in the first place, which this didn't appear to be, considering how quickly it came undone. I always want to support local artisans, and I get that they can't guarantee the work over the long term - but to refuse to even consider that it wasn't done right in the first place is problematic, to say the least. I'll look elsewhere next time.

It is one of my favorite pieces of furniture. I was devastated and wanted it restored to its original condition. Having no experience getting a piece refinished, I turned to the web combing over sites and reviews. I came upon Artisan's site and it seemed to be someone who cherished this type of work. My intuition proved true. The owner, Guy, was easy to work with and I am more than pleased with the finished restoration. He was accommodating of my timing (he's super busy!) and how I wanted it restored ( leaving some of the character like where my dog chewed on the leg and matching the current or original stain color). Since I didn't shop around, I can't speak to the pricing but it seemed fair to me. I would not hesitate at recommending Guy for any treasured piece needing refinishing. Before and after pics below. FYI I was looking for a restaurant when I saw this come up and was not asked to do a review.

I came across Steve's website, reviewed his work and his reviews, and decided to give him a try. Let me tell you...I was NOT disappointed! From our initial communication to the quote, drop-off, pick-up, and invoicing, everything went as smoothly as silk. Steve is an excellent communicator and even sent me a couple of pictures along the way so I could see the progress. He also went the extra mile and was able to tighten the table up a bit, making it considerably less wobbly. The finished table looks absolutely beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. Without question, I would use Steve again and will happily recommend him to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship. It's not often you find someone who combines skill, attention to detail, and excellent customer service--and Steve checks all three boxes!

After going to the Yelp page I noticed an entry in 2018 by Jim S. and was AMAZED that he wrote almost exactly what I wanted to say. The only difference is that I didn't have to re-string my umbrella as my broken part was a rubber glide that went into the post track. Other than that, I'm saying the same glowing words that Jim said. Thanks again Nick! Copied Jim's review here: I needed a small part for my Treasure Garden AKZ cantilevered umbrella. My local TG retailer was of no help. They had no interest selling me some small replacement part that would fix my broken umbrella and keep me from buying a new $$$ umbrella (those TG umbrellas are nice but very expensive.) I can't recommend them highly enough! I'll definitely be back for any/all of my patio needs. Thank you Nick! Thank you Casual Furniture Solutions!
