I didn't go to the counter as i was busy looking around the store to get u guys a good review ( no actually I didn't want to stand in line waiting) Well ! The store is huge, clean , tidy , organized and beautiful . They have stocked everything very precisely. Plus the digital advertisement on their televisions give you knowledge about thr products they sale and various marijuana they carry. I guess u could get everything here from edibles to smoke pods, shatter, bongs, rollies, rolling paper n e-cigarette plus some fancy accessories. Infact there was a mist with cbd oil. When this store opened, there was a queue around the block that lasted for 5 days. 2 weeks later, the store is practically empty of product. There is no information given as to when the shelves will be restocked. There has already been a violent incident where a potential patron smashed the glass door in a fury because the wait was long. The store is clean and neat. There are information cards beside every sample of product. There are accessories for sale. Pipes and vaporizers, etc. The staff is young and attractive. I'm not sure about knowledgeable yet. Some customers were putting in their orders. Free parking, but no "walk off lot" privilege. read more

I was not disappointed in my selection of weed, Casablanca. It was so fresh, Cheech and Chong quality. Other stores sell old dried out weed. But not this location. This is one of the most clean and welcoming dispensaries I've ever been to. I guess a majority of its customers simply don't use yelp. And not for no reason. It's just full of angry boomers. Sure the location could be better and the outside of the store looks sketchy, but take a look inside and you'll be sure to change your mind(given you're not a minor) The employees are nicer than the ones you can find at little ceasars, and the prices they offer are great. The consumable products I've bought from Nova have proven that they're well worth the cash. the displays there are really well put together as if it were a perfume retailer, and there are catalogs and employees in these clean white lab coats always ready to answer your questions. read more

The boarded-up doors put me off a bit, but these things happen sometimes on Whyte. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly staff person. I already guessed it - they were out of all products except accessories. Considering that cannabis as been legal for a month, I was surprised, especially since the line ups are no longer out the door and around the block. I was informed that they are working on a website where people can check product stock without having to call or come in. That would definitely be handy. I'm a bit confused as they have walls of strains of cannabis, organized into Sativa/Indica/Hybrid. To my understand, this was what they carried. However when you walk in, you're directed to check the white board near the till to see what's in stock, which is probably 10% of what they show on the wall. We've been in a day after they restock & still seen a lot less on the whiteboard than what they have in the walls. Despite my confusion, I do appreciate the teaching they have on the wall as to which strains affect you in certain ways and how terpines affect the type of high you get. It's a very informative shop! We came here all the time for our needs until we found a closer location, but I still love this one best! read more

Decided to stop by and take a peek at this place the other day. Windows we're boarded up, I'd chalk it up to the hooligans in the Whyte ave area. The second my bud and me stepped in, we are greeted by an employee, who informed us they were out of smokable stock. I believe she did say they had oils though. They had other products, like bongs and vaporizers. The employees are nice and personable. I guess this is the busiest retail Cannabis shop in the city. Hopefully they get the merchandise situation figured out soon. read more

Worst experience ever. On all levels. This is my second visit to this store too. I've been fortunate to experience legal cannabis in Washington when I lived there in 2015, I've been to stores in Nevada, California, Oregon and worked in the cannabis industry in Vancouver for 2 years and congrats guys Nova was the worst store I've ever been to. My girl friend and I walked in one day to pick up some G's and check out the selection. We were browsing the dismal options for sativas and hybrids and were told that pre-rolls were on sale. I inquired if they joints were flower or shake. The saleswoman, who apparently just had her 18th cup of coffee delivers an incorrect statement at 150mph of what shake is, and that apparently is the "shake" they use. I didn't know what to say, because I'm not going to go out of my way and correct her. I was so overwhelmed by her delivery and just said, "OK." Then we had a dude man-splain what flower they used for the joints. "You know when you grow weed, if you've ever grown before, there is flower at the top and buds in the middle and buds at the bottom. We use the bottom buds in our joints." He could have said, "LOWER GRADE FLOWER." I'm rolling my eyes here. As we were chatting over which sativas and hybrids we wanted, the salesperson turns the page and says, "oh but there are lots of indicas!" To which we mentioned that we were not at all interested when we arrived. "Yes hi, we want to buy a TV." Salesperson, "have you seen our new dishwashers?" They only have "smelling" containers of indicas only. Which were so dry that none of them actually gave off any scent. Nice try though. When we finally were making a choice, we were asked, " have you like tried Tangerine Dream?" Yeah, Theodore, we have. Thanks for the basic white bitch suggestion. We purchased one gram. It was dry, it barely got me high. Aurora products are not that great. Cannabis connoisseurs stay away, you'll just be gravely disappointed by the selection as well as the team. I'm sure this might be a great place if you've never smoked weed before. It's like thinking Olive Garden is amazing.... until you experience Chianti's. After we went to Daikoku and I wondered why we even wasted our time at Nova. read more

I just wanna say I've never actually been in the store and here's why the first time I tried the windows were boarded up, the following week I made it as far as parking my car to see a man sending people away I think this is a ridiculous situation with lack of preparation on both the suppliers and government I will never return to this or any other location for over priced weed no thanks it was honestly just to check it out but never even had a chance I'll stick to online better luck next year read more

I've been here a few times and usually experienced helpful and friendly service. However, today, the budtender who assisted me seemed inexplicably hostile and didn't seem to want to help me out very much. As I was leaving, I pressed the wheelchair button so as to avoid touching the door handle - for reasons that should be obvious during this global pandemic - and was screamed at by this particular budtender whose exact choice of words were "You're not disabled!" (something that someone with a non-visable disability might find quite offensive). All in all my experience here today has marred my previously high opinion of this dispensary. read more
