The poor stepsister of Cumby's stores in Bristol, it has not been renovated in many years. Investment in permanent repairs non-existent, contractors return repeatedly to apply band-aid fixes only. None of the amenities of Pine St. or Farmington Ave. No iced fountain drinks, no hot food besides nuke-it-yourself breakfast sandwiches and burgers. No public rest rooms. Staff are welcoming and personable, considering the challenge of keeping this location functioning. We're pulling for them but the odds aren't good since corporate doesn't seem to care about them--or their many regular customers.

I filled up, then realized I was in fact charged $3.83 a gallon! I brought this up to the worker Aziz's attention and he started to fight with me! Over 52 cents! He told me if I had a problem, I should call the cops. He kept telling me I was holding up his line and he would not issue me a refund, and even refused to give me the managers number. A lady waiting in line even yelled at him to give me the number. That is no way to run a business. Thankfully, the other gentleman working was outside and I explained my situation to him. He gave me a refun no questions asked. But Aziz here was huffing and puffing that this man was giving me the money that was wrongfully taken from me. I will be calling the store owner, and for anyone who has an issue there- don't ask Aziz because he will threaten the police on you.

There is quite a bit of traffic but you are never standing around frustrated at all. The store is clean, and presentable. The outside is clean and respectable with plenty of parking. There is a good variety of items, everything from food, snack, drinks, beer, tobacco products, fresh coffee for $1 and misc items like snow shovels, hand warmers, etc. Moving here from California it was nice to find a store locally that provided this high level of customer service. There are plenty of store in the area, some even closer but I always find my way to Thapa Convenience Store instead. There are rare occurrences when paying cash out of pocket really feels worth it, or like it is going to people who actually deserve it.
