Where they loose me and some points it the communication and follow through. After my initial meeting and document collection, I literally never heard back from anyone with updates. I would get items in the mail from the courts and have to call and ask what it was for and what I needed to do. When my hearing of creditors happened, I had been told multiple times that my attorney would be present but on the day of the hearing he was no where to be seen. I franticly called the office but got no answer. I was panicking as the judge called my name because my attorney wasn't there but out of the blue some other attorney I had never met, spoke up to represent me. It seems like having a different attorney represent me would have been good information to contact me about prior to court. Finally, a discharge notice came in the mail and no one reached out to me to explain what it meant, I had to called again for clarification and next steps and that is when I was told, "your case is done!". Really? Why did no one reach out to me to explain? Lastly, I never received instructions on their advertised "720 credit score rebuilding service" that I was told would be provided once my case was completed. I was too annoyed to call them again and ask them to provide the services promised. At the end of the day, my case was successful but the lack of communication left me feeling undervalued and unimportant, especially for the $2k paid for the service.

Michael, who looks to have just graduated high school, made over 30 mistakes on my case. BAD mistakes. But much worse than that, he chronically over-billed me for 2 years, to the tune of many, many thousands of dollars. (3 hours billed to type a paragraph? Really?) When it finally became to much to bear, I asked to do a thorough accounting of my billing. I was told that everyone just went home sick and no one could talk to me. The next day they withdrew as my attorneys. I talked to Michael and he ADMITTED he had over-billed me $10k+, and I RECORDED IT! Here is some transcript from our trial. (ME) Q. "And what did you say when I accused you?" (MICHAEL COLLINS) A. "I said, Jason, I'm willing to admit that some of the billing may have been overbilling, but I expected you to pay it."
