Fresh Thyme is still one of the most wonderful places in St. Louis Park as far as I am concerned…read more I can count on them to have amazing products of all kinds, including an excellent selection of supplements and functional beverages. They have some fantastic alcohol alternatives, including kava and CBD (including--hooray!--THC-free options) for those in need of chill in a can. Today, though, I want to focus on why I will be making many more visits for the foreseeable future. My friends, the Andes Gifts textiles are in. I repeat: Andes Gifts knitted goods are in! If you know, you know. If you don't, let me tell you. These fair-trade knitted accessories are not only warm as heck (thanks to the fleece-lined alpaca) but also absolutely darling. With everything from headbands to flippers to socks, you will find something to keep your extremities toasty. I personally favor the animal hats (and have purchased at least a dozen over the years). Available in sizes for kids and adults, these unique hats are guaranteed to get you smiles and giggles when gifted (or worn). New this year are knitted hand puppets that I am absolutely going to use as mittens, because life is too short to not do the little things that delight you.

I was in SLP and in front of the FTM and decided to browse for salad bags and found the biggest selection at reasonable prices. The store is large, easy to access and see what you want next by scanning across the floor. It's a quiet atmosphere with the canned music playing softly. Easy self check out

When I walked in it seemed like a very regular day. They did have 3 sample stands around the store but were a bit lackluster overall, nothing special. I did ask a staff about it and worked my way up to management - who basically said what they have is all they are doing for the event - due to staff call outs. Essentially there was no event taking place. I did browse around a bit and ended up grabbing a few items. Seemed like they had great deals and some items you can't really get at other stores. They sell baba's hummus, which I love. The produce looked good and they generally had a lot to offer as a smaller grocery store. I do like that they mostly group items together so you can see all options in one place, like gluten free crackers and next to regular crackers. Same with some dairy free options for other items. They have a ton of parking and if you park underground in the ramp they have a cart ramp to get your items down easier.

Excellent farmers market with tons of organic products at a relatively affordable price…read more Well I mean, with the all of the markdowns it's affordable lol. I was able to catch a huge sale on some hen eggs. I've never eaten a hen egg ever and I'm stoked to see what it tastes like. They are normally $5.99 a dozen but it was BOGO so you know I had to jump on that. Then they had organic eggs for $2.99 a dozen. Now I'm staying at a hotel with a kitchen and just bought 4 dozen of eggs. Guess I'll be making every kind of egg meal I can think of. I most certainly will return here because I love the selections and amount of products they offer aside from groceries. There's a large vitamin section with protein powders and shakes. They have a fresh bakery and deli section too. Very nice place!

I waited for her to scan everything at self checkout and put in paper bags and it took forever. The rotating plastic bag carousel is in the way so there's no place to put paper bags to load them up. Not very well thought out by Fresh Thyme. The lady should've opened up the register and check me out like. I'll never come back to this location when I'm buying a cart full of stuff.

You know, I was going to give this place 4 stars because the parking sometimes sucks. But seriously. Should I really be that petty??? So I made a mental list of the pros and cons. Inexpensive flowers? Check! Decent selection of produce? Check! A frozen aisle of items that make you go hmmm? Check! Plus they do the occasional sampling of something and it usually pretty good. Also, they OWN the self branded kick ass condiment market. The fried onion in pepper oil? Wow! The elote dip for chips? Can't get that shit in my mouth fast enough! The green bottle of jalapeño cream sauce? I will drown my eggs with that stuff! Plus the people that work there are all pretty awesome while dealing with us, the general public, who are in the grand scheme of things pretty f'n irritating. Honestly there is more but you get the point. Not worth knocking a star just because parking can sometimes be difficult.

My event was in 3 days so I assumed this would work. Wrong. By the second day more than half had withered and I removed them from the bouquet, and on the third day, only one was left that resembled a garden rose, so I returned them with the receipt, but the woman at the customer help counter told me they last up to 5 days - and they can wither by the third day, which they did. No replacement was offered. I was basically SOL. She was kind and of course she said she was sorry. So was I. Here is my recommendation - As beautiful as garden roses are, do not purchase them, unless you are fine with them possibly withering on the second day. They definitely do not last 7 days or fI've days, or even three.
