But, I had an event and I needed something special made and didn't think it wise to try to transport it with me over 1,000 miles (this was probably beyond unwise, it was probably also not possible). And, naturally, because I know nothing about this sort of thing, I waited until it was closing right on in on too late...enough of the circumstances. Bottom line, this place saved my bacon. They did a stellar, stellar job and were super easy to work with. The space was clean and the staff were attentive. I then made my way over to the bakery and restaurant side. The signs make it very clear to understand the breakouts. If you are ordering pastries and coffee you will be on one side, whereas, if you are looking to order off the menu with full service, you will be on the bar side. Nichole's is a well oiled machine. The setup is easy to navigate and the concept is unique. Blending pastries, coffee, cakes, cooking products, wine, breakfast, lunch and dinner into one space is magnificent. I loved my intimate dine in session ordering the avocado toast on sourdough bread with an over hard egg and an orange hot tea. It was the perfect blend and was the best avocado toast I ever had. My belly was far too full after brunch so I went to the bakery side after and bought a chocolate raspberry muffin (also the best muffin I've ever had), chocolate chip cookies (darn near ate them all in one setting) and poppyseed thumbprint cookies with a raspberry filling (jaw dropping). They have a delicious selection of cupcakes, muffins, cakes, cookies, brownies, breads, and other baked goods. Seriously, you wouldn't know that they are gluten free . . . in fact, they taste BETTER than most anything else out there. Whether it's gluten free or not. Even if I wasn't to eat gluten free, I would chose Mehl's first! I had one of their muffins at a local event earlier in the summer and was won over immediately. Then we went to their shop this past week to pick out cupcakes for a birthday and were in heaven! We got four cupcakes: carrot, vanilla cheesecake, caramel sea salt, and strawberry champagne (this one was vegan). Each was wonderful in its own right and full of body and flavor. For instance, today they had 12 pk coke on sale 3 for 5.00, and everyone else has to pay 7.00 dollars. They don't take into consideration for the people that don't have plenty of space, or can't use mobile data, or someone that doesn't have a phone or understand how to use it. Today, I told the cashier I'm forced to do this. I was told go to the phone store and by a card for more memory. Really! Spend even more money that people don't have. So basically you're company doesn't think of elderly, people with disabilities. It just isn't right that we can't save the same as them.
