No bag or offered a bag for my cake
Natalie T.

This review with that I am about to do. Has nothing to quality of the taste that they make. However i pick up my birthday cake and I was not given or offered a bag. And that rubbed me the wrong way. Because I'm coming there into a food establishment to purchase something. And I was not offered a bag to put my birthday cake in I think that's unprofessional and foul. Like I said, this does not take away from how

Really good cakes The people that work there are really friendly, and other than the pretty cakes, the bakery sells other cute things.

Everyone deserve a Sweet Treat and I decided to fulfill that with Nothing Bundt " bundtlets" which in my opinion are the perfect individual cakes. The Nothing Bundt Cake in Silver Spring is located in a convenient shopping center. I have had the bunstlets before and my go to is usually the red velvet so today I decided to try some new flavors! I would like to shoutout the store worker Sadie for answering my questions and helping me pick the flavors. In order are my bundtlet top choices: The strawberry cream is a Gold Star I believe it will take over the red velvet ( 2nd) , and 3rd would be the lemon which is pretty good and is not overpowering. In last would be the carrot which is not bad but once I had the strawberry and cream nothing can compare. Fun fact: If you have the "nothing Bundt bag" you can get a deal on the bundtlets !

Bundt cakes are so good! It's so easy to order online and pick up. They always look great and put together. I also really like the decorations that are added on them.

Nothing Bundt Cakes does Bundt cakes very well. The white chocolate raspberry bundtlet was a great breakfast. The bundtlets are mildly sweet, moist, and filling but no too dense. The cakes are also very similar (of the 3 I've had). Bundt cakes are called that cause they are made in a Bundt pan. Everything else is negotiable. They were all good, but I would like more variety. The center of the bundlet is the cream plug. Nice sweet cream! Lots of it. Would've been. Ice to have a fork, but they had nothing but cakes here. No fork. No coffee, No tea. As a matter of fact they have nothing but cakes.

BEST CAKES IN THE DMV! I'd heard about this place from a few friends and finally tried during the pandemic as a pick me up. Oh my goodness, have I been missing out. The pecan praline is super rich, moist, and perfectly sweet. The frosting was the real star. I bought one cake Monday and came back a few days later because I had to try more. 5 stars and definitely the best cakes in the area. Much better than the overhyped cupcakes places downtown. Just saying.

Nothing Bundt Cakes has made me a believer in all things cake! I've never been too much of a cake fan. I am more so a big fan of ice cream; however, Nothing Bundt Cakes has turned me out! Those bundlets will get you in trouble. It's almost like eating a mini snickers...you can't just eat one. My favorite flavor has to be the Red Velvet. What's special about it, is that there are mini chocolate chips waiting for you to take a bite. It's a pleasant and yummy surprise! Watch yourself...Nothing Bundt Cakes is truly a treat!

I have been meaning to try this place for good long while now, and I'm so happy I finally had the chance to stop in. The shop itself is absolutely adorable. In addition to the cakes, there are tables filled with all kinds of novelties in the shop. Large and mini birthday cards (some of which are absolutely hilarious), stationery, writing tools, and water bottles from Kate Spade, specialty birthday cake candles, cups, magnets and even baby onesies. Service is prompt, attentive and friendly and the staff are really just a sweet bunch of folks. I ordered the red velvet mini-bundt and lemon mini-bundt cakes and let me just tell you right now how those cakes are melt-in-your-mouth good. No seriously... These cakes will make you do things to your spoon or fork that are borderline obscene. It took everything in my power not to stuff both of those cakes into my face while sitting in traffic on the way home.

The Goods! The Carrot Pineapple Cake & Lemon Cake is always a winner in my book!!...Thumbs Up!

Nothing Bundt Delicious!....Should be the rebranded name of this place!! I came here for the first time ever this past weekend and have been converted into a fan. My coworkers rave about this place and now I see why. The cakes are moist, fresh, and delicious. The icing is outstanding and on point too. One thing I like for sure is that the icing 'ratio to cake' is just the right amount and does not drown out the actual flavor of the cake. It compliments it. I am not sure if the cakes are made in house, but they appear artesian made and decorated. The flavor choices are many and all look good.....like Red Velvet, Vanilla, Chocolate and the list goes on and on. On this day, I tried the carrot cake mini and lemon cake --To go! I was saving both cakes as a reward. for my cheat day after the gym. Well....Listen, to be honest....and sadly report.....the lemon cake did not even make it out of the parking lot!! The smell and appeal of the Lemon mini cake was irresistible and I just had to tried it. One bite, turned into two....and then, the rest was history. This baby cake was so freaking good. The lemon flavor was there and not overpowering. Also, there was a hint of butter and vanilla flavor I picked up on too that definitely helped elevate this cake. Needless to say, I made it home with one of the cakes (the carrot cake) in which I ate the next day. It was still just as fresh and moist. In all.....Two Thumbs Up!....Nothing Bundt Cakes is definitely worth a try. With so many flavors to chose from....it makes the perfect treat to satisfy the sweet tooth. The customer service is outstanding and the old country store bakery vibe is cool too. It definitely adds to the experience. The mini cakes are a good portion and they offer larger sizes (made to order) for special occasions like birthdays and wedding. If it wasn't something called a belly or waist-line, I would eat this stuff evvverydaaaaayyyy!!

I had my first bundtini last week when a coworker received them as a gift. After that, I was hooked! I stopped in this week to pick up gifts for my outgoing interns. The store is super cute! I got several bundlets and picked up one for myself. I got the funfetti - super moist and the icing was amazing! Highly recommended!!

My favorite part is the creative ice cream flavors. Where else can you find cantaloupe or Old Bay ice cream? And they're delicious too! I went with friends on a quiet Thursday night. The interior is bright, spacious, and funky! I love the creative decorations. They had about 10 ice cream flavors available. I had to try a couple because they were so unique! Baklava, saffron, old bay, cantaloupe, and more! They had classics as well like chocolate and mint. A single scoop was $6 and was a good size. I got the baklava and WOW. I'm a huge baklava fan and this was incredible. I don't know how they mixed real, delicious chunks of baklava in the honey ice cream without it getting soggy or mushy, but they did and it was amazing! A friend got their dark chocolate and it might be the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had- I'm look at you Ben and Jerry! Some other nice touches- the spoons change color with different temperatures! So fun to watch your spoon change when it sits in the ice cream. They were also selling shirts to support the local elementary school. They have new flavors each season, so make sure you come in and try more! I can't wait to see what else they make!

They're located on Georgia right next to Denizens, and It's kind of in the cut and hard to see (well it was for me). If you're coming in from East-West Highway (pro tip: don't if you're driving, the parking there is restricted and they tow) you have to walk down stairs between the 1830 building and Denizens to find it. They allow one party in the building at a time. My boys and I went in and the young man immediately asked if we were just using the restroom or also getting ice cream-- I doubt they have public restrooms but I was on a trot after 3 hours out-- and when he realized we were getting ice cream, he didn't allow anyone in until we came out of the bathroom, ordered and left. Very safe. Their ice cream is clean, delicious, and their flavors are unique. I tried honey lavender and It was SOOO good until the very end ( I ate a bit of lavender and didn't taste anything else til I was done). The boys' strawberry ice cream was delicious and NOT pink- we avoid red dyes so this was exactly what we were looking for. The sugar cones are just the right size for the small children and they don't overstuff the cones a la Brusters and Ben and Jerry's. These are just right in size and price for kids. They didn't have a "kids cone" option per se (but I didn't ask) we just did a single scoop. That's one thing I'd like- a cake cone (smaller) with a kid sized scoop. As ir was, I got a scoop and a half helping the 3 year old finish. The 6 year old inhaled it in 2 minutes so it's just about right! Overall it's close to home, easy to get to once you know it's there and had great service plus AWESOME ice cream. I cannot wait to try the ginger, coconut, and wild blueberry! Lo

I recently picked up a small Lemon cake and a Strawberry cake from Morning My Day in Silver Spring…read more I was expecting a decent dessert; I wasn't expecting to be reminded that most other bakeries have been lying to us for years. The first bite was a bit of a shock to the system. It's one of those rare "Ratatouille moments" where a flavor profile manages to bridge the gap between Maryland and the legendary sponge cakes of Phoenix Bakery in LA. It's a bit of a trick, really--making something taste like a childhood memory without being cloying about it. The Breakdown: * The Sponge: It's exceptionally light. Biting into it is less like eating a dense dessert and more like biting into a sweetened, high-end pillow. It's airy, delicate, and possesses the kind of structural integrity that only a professional (or a wizard) could manage. * The Icing: A triumph of restraint. Instead of the usual sugary plaster one finds elsewhere, this is a light, white cream. It's sweet enough to let you know it's there, but it doesn't try to dominate the conversation. It's icing with a bit of dignity. * The Verdict: This is how cake ought to be. It's exquisite, technically brilliant, and far too easy to eat in a single sitting. If you appreciate a dessert that relies on craft rather than a massive dose of corn syrup, do yourself a favor and stop by. It's a legit bit of baking excellence right here in Silver Spring

My egg and cheese croissant sandwich, which I ordered with havarti cheese and avocado was delicious. It was served warm. Everything was soft and tender. My sandwich was not overly salty, as well, which I appreciated. I was also surprised that my sandwich was served with fries. The fries were tasty, but too thin for my liking. My chai tea latte was also yummy, not too frothy, and not sweet, as I ordered no sweetener. - Menu. There appears to be something for everyone- coffee, non-caffeinated drinks, sweet baked good, savory baked goods, non-dairy options, and full meals. - Service. The time I waited for my order to be ready was fairly brief. Probably less than 10 minutes. My drink and food were ready separately and did not come together. They call out your name for your order, so make sure you are paying attention. - Price. For spending less than $20 on a meal, I would say it's pretty good value for money. My egg and cheese croissant sandwich was also substantive and not skimpy, which was good. - Layout. The inside has a pretty good space. There are counters with high stool seating, and a fair amount of tables and chair for regular seating, as well. - Location. Convenient, especially to other restaurants and shops. there is also parking in the area. However, be prepared to spend time and money on parking, depending on the day and time you come. What's Not - Service. It appears to be mostly self-service. After you enter their front entrance, there are two kiosks for self-service ordering. On the one hand, it's helpful if you know what you're ordering. On the other hand, if you have questions, their kiosks are not conducive for that. They have baked goods section, which appears to also be self-serve. However, I was uncertain how that actually worked, because I did not see an in-person cashier. - Layout. Depending on the size of your group, and day and time you come, seating can be difficult to come by. Most of their seating appears to be cramped, as well (i.e., many of their sit down tables and chairs are very close together). - Acoustics. They play music inside at a volume that is not very conducive for conversation. - Parking. There is parking in the area, but it can be difficult to find, depending on the day and time you come. On the day my friend and I were here, there was a lot of snow piled up, so finding street parking was very difficult. There are parking lots in the area, most of which are paid parking, so be mindful of the time you spend. There appears to be free parking in the area, but those are not easy to come by depending on the day and time. Final Answer Willing to come back, but probably not a first choice.
