Been trying my best to support thy is business for the past few years and I'm constantly disappointed, today may have been the "icing on the cake"... Ordered a dozen mini bundts, and upon being handed them I immediately noticed how COLD the box was!! Felt like an ice cream cake... hmmm.. let's take a look inside! Picked up a cake and took a bite, this thing was almost FROZEN! Hard to chew, oils in the batter hardened, completely just ruined my craving for a cake. All of the other cakes in my dozen were the same consistency. I'm not expecting a warm cake every time although that would be a game changer, but at the very least room temperature would be good. These things were just pulled out of a freezer in the morning and in my culinary opinion unacceptable to sell and serve in that way. When purchasing food, you want to eat it immediately. It should be presented in its prime state upon delivery. Duck donuts. Hot, warm delicious. Bundt cakes got nothing but the icing right. Were there instructions on the box to "leave it at room temperature for three hours before consuming" Very very disappointed and it was my last try today. read more

I'm embarrassed to say that i tried nothing Bundt cakes for the first time a few months ago (don't judge me lol) but boy Im I HOOKED! The concept of the a personal bundlet is perfect! For $6 you get 2 servings of a deliciously moist Bundt cake (i usually finish the 2 servings in 1 sitting). They offer several flavors that include strawberry cream, red velvet, lemon, snickerdoodle, white chocolate raspberry and the classic vanilla, just to name a few. I've personally tried the strawberry cream, red velvet, white chocolate raspberry and snickerdoodle and personally i LOVED them all. The strawberry cream, red velvet and snickerdoodle are tied for the #1 spot. The red velvet has delicious chocolate chips and a decadent tasty cream cheese frosting that makes the cake incredibly moist. These cakes are honestly the BEST!! The service is always top tier, everyone is always super nice. The restaurant typically is stocked with multiple cakes I've never had an encounter where they didn't have something I wanted available. Parking is also readily available, it can be busy on that highway during rush hour and i have been stuck in the parking lot trying to get out for more than 30 minutes at a time before. I have been meaning to try this place for good long while now, and I'm so happy I finally had the chance to stop in. The shop itself is absolutely adorable. In addition to the cakes, there are tables filled with all kinds of novelties in the shop. Large and mini birthday cards (some of which are absolutely hilarious), stationery, writing tools, and water bottles from Kate Spade, specialty birthday cake candles, cups, magnets and even baby onesies. Nothing Bundt Cakes is pretty self explanatory, they sell nothing but bundt cakes! 10" size bundt cakes, 8" size bundt cakes, tiered bundt cakes, bundtlets (Mini Size), bundtlet towers, and bundtinis (Bite Size). No matter the flavor, all are doused with rich and creamy cream cheese frosting. When I saw they had mini bundt cakes, I had to give it a whirl! Let's face it, anything mini size seems to always taste better. The cakes, the customer service, and the experience were all PHENOMENAL!!! I decided to order a 12 pack of the bundtlets, which consist of personal sized bundt cakes. As soon as I entered into the shop, the entire staff greeted me. The decor was so colorful and bright and the smell was hypnotizing! Someone immediately asked what I needed help with and she went in the back to get my order. Quick, prompt and to the point. If you ever decide to order over the phone please note that payment is due at the time of your order. Cakes are freshly baked and displayed for purchase. I opted to call in my order to make certain the flavors I wanted, would be available. I didn't know then, but I thought a "taste" of the snickerdoodle bundtini's would be a couple or so....WRONG! I was given a full dozen!!! Now that's what you call customer service!! It actually turned out to be one of our favorite flavors. Everyone ranted and raved about the cakes. We loved them! Very moist, fresh, and the frosting was so creamy-dreamy. I also have to mention Lemon as one of my other favorites. I got to try most of their flavors - and my absolute favorite has to be lemon. I'm the type of person that will pick chocolate desserts 9 times out of 10. But the lemon bundt cake is that good: sweet, tart, and packed with lemon flavor. My friends and coworkers will argue that the chocolate and red velvet cakes are the best; we have agreed to disagree. I've found my happy place, and it's sweet and deliciously addictive. Baby bundts called Bundtlets (yes autocorrect, it's a real word) have entered my world, and my belly. I came to this recently opened location (in my hood, yay!) for their ribbon cutting ceremony with the owner, Katheryn, many employees, a member of Silver Spring's Chamber of Commerce, and a dozen or so future customers to eagerly welcome this new addition to the Shops at Seminary Place. This spot had been vacant for more than a decade if I recall correctly. I couldn't be more excited to have them here. Before the event began I meandered over to the table with samples of their red velvet Bundt. "Oh my god!" was all I could say. And the lady next to me said, "I know!" It was the moistest red velvet cake I've ever had. Of course I had to buy one for later (how much later will depend, but I guarantee it won't be too long). As they were getting ready for the ribbon cutting, out came more samples and more samples and more samples! I tried them all, and while I've never been a snicker doodle fan, I am now. That will be my next purchase. And a carrot cake(no nuts) too. The employees were friendly and very knowledgeable about these sweet little baby bundts. Amazing bundt cakes! I wanted to bring something unique and yummy for a cold day to a friend's dinner and decided to give this new business a shot. I was not disappointed. They could tell I'd never been here and brought me to a corner to try a sample of the white chocolate raspberry bundt cake. I instantly said "omg, this is so good," and could not contain myself. I love Nothing Bundt Cake! I admittedly have a severe sweet tooth and love eating desserts after meals! Their Bundtlets are the perfect size to eat at once or eat half now and save the other half for later! My favorite flavors are the strawberries and cream and the snickerdoodle. The snickerdoodle tastes like a Cinnabon to me and we all love those right?! They have plenty of flavors to choose from between lemon, red velvet, confetti! The staff are always soo nice! Wow! Nothing Bundt Cakes is legitimately lovely! I grew up down the street from the location of the shopping plaza that Nothing Bundt Cakes now has their shop. A lot of the other businesses surrounding Nothing Bundt Cakes have been there for a very long time, so the storefront might be easy to overlook at first glance. But the moment you walk into the shop, you can feel the stark difference. The bakery is bright, fresh, clean and upon entering we were warmly welcomed and given the run down on ordering. We were also encouraged to take one of the tasty samples that were kept in a nice little case, to keep the samples moist and away from debris. I'm never one to turn down a sample (especially when well kept) but was shocked at how good it was! It was one of the most moist (yea, I used the "M" word again) pieces of cake I've ever had. I mean, it was perfect. Since I dropped by to pick up some baked goods to ensure I did not arrive to my friends' home empty handed, I was not there to fully indulge. But in the future if a craving hits, it would be well worth it here. They have mini bundts that are around the size of a cupcake, as well as large cakes and sample boxes. As I waited for my sample box of mini bundts to be packaged, I perused the cute little gifts around the shop that are perfect should you be looking for a little something extra to gift someone. This place is so good! I really wanted confetti came (my favorite) and I looked all over for it and then Nothing Bundt Cakes popped up. I had driven passed it a few times on my way down Georgia Ave so I knew where it was and knew it wasn't far. So I looked through their menu and saw they had confetti cake so I tried the 12 batch of cupcakes with a mixture of confetti, vanilla, chocolate and red velvet cupcakes. They were AMAZING!!! The cake itself was insanely soft and moist and very flavorful. Plus, they are regular cupcake shaped cakes. They are mini Bundt cupcakes! Very cute with icing on top! The employees there were also very friendly. And the cupcake prices were too bad either. They have several flavors and the design of the cakes are fun and different.
