I've made them for years. They should have had a crispy shell. They were soggy. We ate them within 3 hours of purchase. Didn't refridgerate, which could cause the sogginess. The crème englais was meh. Very disappointing. We haven't tried the raspberry Danish yet, which were $3.99 each. Definitely not going back. I rarely write a poor review, but want to alert others so they are not shellshocked by their bill and then disappointed with the purchase.

Holy Cow! The 'Butter Cake' that we got at the restaurant is what she calls 'Ooey Gooey Cake' I have no idea what is in it, but it is beyond awesome. There are not enough adjectives to describe how good that stuff is. We ended up buying a whole cake. The day that we left for home we returned to 'Butter and Whisk' and bought another cake and a huge chocolate chip cookie (that I just finished eating) and a couple of 'Ooey Gooey Cookies'. I have seen other reviews that said that the cookies were so large that they were raw in the center. That was absolutely NOT the case with the cookies that we bought.
