I had no idea they even had one, and she took the time to walk me through everything without making me feel rushed. I originally came in just to grab the mini Bundt cakes, but somehow I walked out with two Bundtlets instead. Lemon was an easy choice because... of course it was. Perfect combination of sweet and tart. We also bought a chocolate chocolate chip as it is there most popular NATIONwide. What I really like about these cakes is that they are mostly cake vs. the cupcake shops where you get 50% or MORE icing. I usually end up throwing away half that icing as the sweetness is overpowering. The icing distribution on the bundt style cakes is perfection. Reasonable prices as the bundtlets are $4 and can easily serve 2. A conversation with the friendly and pleasant store manager left me believing they'd be opening in Mandarin within the next year. I became aware of Nothing Bundt Cakes when one was purchased for me as dessert for a surprise party...for me. My shock and awe at the party is a story for another time. We enjoyed a 10" white chocolate raspberry bundt. The mastermind added a purple (my fav color) flower decoration, coordinating balloons and card. It came wrapped really nicely. The cake itself was moist and sweet without being over the top. I'm not a huge frosting fan so I ate less of it because that frosting could easily put me in a sugar coma. If you're a frosting freak, rest assured a big glob gets in the middle of the bundt and is waiting for you. I wanted to try more flavors so we stopped in shortly before Christmas. The minis were limited in flavor because of orders, so we chose some bundlets instead. Chocolate Chip - okay, nothing special. Kind of reminded me of box cake mix with chips added. Praline - Good flavor, speckled with bits of pecan. Carrot - Mild carrot flavor, very moist cake. Red Velvet - Good flavor, not dry, I liked this one a lot. Cinnamon - Mild cinnamon flavor. All of the cakes are baked nicely, not dry, and have tasty icing. The ladies in the shop were very nice and there is usually a flavor sample you can try. So I finally made it out to Nothing Bundt Cakes. I didn't even know this place existed until someone mentioned they give you a bundtlette for your birthday. Tonight I picked up dinner next door and I couldn't resist stopping by. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in with a friendly hello and a smile. I always ask for the most popular items when I go to a restaurant or sweet shop. They offered suggestions and also recommended the seasonal item the chocolate turtle. I was sold! The other plus is they offer a couple of samples each day. Once I tried the chocolate turtle sample I knew that this is what I had to have. It was so moist and chocolatey and absolutely delicious! It was a Friday evening, just a few minutes before closing, and upon entering I was warmly greeted by the ladies behind the counter. They were so welcoming and pleasant even at that late hour. They suggested that I try their samples, which happened to be beautifully cut and displayed pieces of lemon and pumpkin cake. I was immediately taken by the softness of the cake and by the moistness of those bites. I bought three small cakes - red velvet, pumpkin, and chocolate chip. The best of the three was the pumpkin. The red velvet had a subtle chocolate flavor and the chocolate chips which were baked inside it added to the flavor and texture. The cream cheese icing flavor and consistency was also very well done but perhaps the ratio was a little off for me. There was too much icing on the small cake. I look forward to trying more of their flavors and indulging in more samples the next time that I'm in the store. read more

The employee was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Customer service is definitely a priority at NBC. Most importantly, the cupcakes were delicious.
