High-quality ingredients and simple, well-executed sandwiches really define this place. There's…read moresomething incredibly comforting about food like this--classic, familiar, and made with care. The homemade sides follow that same theme: simple dishes done very well, the kind of comfort food that feels nostalgic and reminds you of meals you've had at home. At the same time, that simplicity can cut both ways. Since the ingredients and preparations are fairly straightforward, it does feel like the kind of food you could recreate at home without too much trouble. Because of that, it may not be somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit frequently. That said, it's still a great spot overall, and I'd definitely stop in from time to time when I'm in the mood for something comforting and well made.

It was my first time here and ordering is kind of confusing. We came around 11 am and wanted…read morebreakfast sandwiches. There are basically 3 separate lines - one for sandwiches, another for pastries/cakes and to pay. We were greeted once it was our turn for the sandwich line. I opted for the egg and cheese on gluten free bread. My hubby got a chicken sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. The egg is definitely not fresh, and made from a carton, so it was okay. We watched as our sandwiches were getting made and were ready within 5 minutes. We then proceeded to the check out line where we can place drink orders. I got a decaf latte with almond milk (but the cashier didn't hear me say almond milk so ended up getting whole milk and my tummy was not happy about it afterwards). The decaf latte was decent and I enjoyed it for the most part. We were able to enjoy our breakfast outside!

As a lover of desserts I made it my mission to stop by this bakery when we visited Atlanta for the…read moreweekend. We were staying in a hotel in downtown Atlanta and surprisingly we were within walking distance. It was a little hard to find at first because I'm not familiar with the area, but I eventually found this little gem of a bake shop. I honestly loved everything about it. When I walked in it smelled intoxicating, like freshly baked cinnamon rolls?? I'm not sure but it was heavenly. The decor is lovely, and if I lived nearby this is a spot that I would meet up with a girlfriend, share a sweet, and chat. The person working that day was very nice and answered all of my questions about the daily selection. I actually called the day prior to ask about a specific menu item (one of their pound cakes) and whoever answered the phone that day was super kind and helpful as well. I bought the banana pudding + the red and blue velvet cheesecake. Both were good, but the banana pudding was my favorite. I could tell it was homemade. I'm only bummed because we were only in Atlanta for two nights and their menu changes daily. Like, I wanted to come back and try more things! Next time we visit, I NEED to try the sour cream pound cake and the sweet potato cheesecake. Highly recommend you stop by and/or give them a call to ask about their daily items!

She was so happy to receive her perfect strawberry cake on her actual bday! Thanks piece of cake!

The tea was refreshing with well cooked pearls that were squishy and smooth. But the best part was getting flustered by the beautiful person with lilac hair and sharp eyeliner.
