However with that said so this may not be a reflection of her personally. She completely dropped the ball and failed at the service I hired her for. Twice. She had docs to study prior to serve and guaranteed her work. 1st attempt- she asked respondent (restraining order to be served) the wrong identification when she approached. Therefore- she was no longer anonymous and failed serve. That left me vulnerable and endangered as he then knew I was filing the order. She promised another attempt would be successful. She came to his home and knocked and knocked. And knocked announcing herself. His vehicle was outside the complex. He of course evaded as he'd done via Sheriff attempts prior to hiring Judith. She then asked my neighbor if she had seen him. It became disruptive. She eventually gave up knocking (at my request) and left documents at his door. She was unaware if she could provide "proof of service" I desperately needed to provide judge. I went to court again. Judge asked for this form "200" that I could not provide. Judge dismissed case. I am now harassed in my home and stalked at my work unprotected. Oh- according to courthouse self help center- she could have proved me to form. It was a legitimate serve.

I am a licensed attorney licensed to practice law in the State of California. Earlier this month…read more(October 2017), I was hired by a Family Law client (a self-represented Family Law client) to provide him with legal help/assistance concerning two (2) separate Family Law cases/matters in San Diego County. One San Diego County Superior Court case was to be filed and heard at 220 West Broadway in San Diego, California, and the other San Diego County Superior Court case was to be filed and heard at the East County Regional Center in El Cajon, California. As a result, I was rummaging for a San Diego County registered process server to do the filing and the serving of court documents at and for both courthouses mentioned above in a timely, professional, efficient, diligent, and professional manner. This is where I came across South Bay Attorney Service, specifically, Mr. Brian Jackson Essah (hereinafter referred to as "Mr. Essah"). Mr. Essah and his team at South Bay Attorney Service are all excellent process servers. Mr. Essah and his team are very responsive, very communicative, very timely, very proficient, very diligent, and very efficient with the service(s) that Mr. Essah and his team provide to their customers. And, since I always dealt with and always spoke with Mr. Essah, Mr. Essah is a very kind, nice, patient man. He will do the best that he can to the best of his ability to answer and/or address and/or all questions and/or concerns a customer or customers may have. With respect to both aforementioned Family Law cases that I was hired to provide legal help/assistance to perform on, in both San Diego County Superior Court cases, Mr. Essah and his team were able (in time) to get everything filed with the court and (in time and properly) personally serve the opposing party or opposing parties that needed to be served with the respective filings. In the present and in the future, as I did this time, whenever I have a San Diego County Superior Court case, South Bay Attorney Service is the company that I count on to get everything that I need done timely, properly, professionally, appropriately, diligently, respectfully, etc. If you would like and/or need to have a filing or filings and/or personal service done in San Diego County, I strongly recommend South Bay Attorney Service. Thank you Mr. Essah and to your team!

On the morning of the hearing, I contacted the company to obtain the status of service and any service attempt information. Because the court required detailed information regarding service attempts, a court clerk also contacted the company seeking the dates and times of any attempts. At that time, the requested information was not provided. My hearing proceeded without the service information, and the matter was concluded shortly thereafter due to the lack of completed service. Several hours later, at approximately 12:27 PM on March 9, 2026, after the hearing had already ended, the company sent a report containing alleged service attempts from March 5 through March 8. My concern is not simply whether service attempts were made. My concern is that the information was not made available before the hearing, when it was actually needed. As a result, the service had no practical value to me at the time of the court proceeding. After I disputed the charge with my credit card issuer, the company continued to send invoices and informed me that finance charges would accumulate and that the account may eventually be sent to collections.
