Hello This is not a fake enquiry. Its a good and bad personal review about not anther gift. I am a real person and I live in southsea Portsmouth. There address is Copthall Bridge House Station Bridge Harrogate HG1 1SP There customer service number nether gets answerd However this number does 0844 8717275. Trouble is they say there is no one to take your call but they assure me that they are liitimate and its just they are too busy. After a week of harrasing I get an email from an Alex assureing me that things are ready to dispatch. NOTHING!!!!! so i try contacting them on the reception and now getting no answer. Find out that the office is a sattelite office. I spoke to the people they rent the office off. The woman there says she has met the owners and says they are genuine. Apparantly gum tree screwd them over and they have a huge back log. The woman says that they prefer to deal with KGB but they still dont get ther money for 7 days after the deal has finished. Its only been 10 days and the say allow 28. I have orderd many things through KGB deals in the past. They all seem as dodgy as hell and take forever to arrive but they eventually after along time allways do. I will keep you all poseted read more

Places with supposedly endless supplies of meat carved at your table. However, based on my experience, I fail to understand how this business stays viable. We arrived at 1pm. There was only one other party, and they looked native brazillian. We were shuffled to a table in a very tightly packed area where getting out would be difficult. We asked if we could re-locate and reluctantly the guy serving us agreed. A major difficult is that the staff say very little and presume you understand exactly how this whole Rodizio Grill works. Where more people came in during lunchtime with their Groupons, the confusion on what to do was repeated, and the waiter absolutely looked like he was tired of actual businessa and having to interact with people. Whilst I try not to always judge a place on service, this person interacted with customers with borderline contempt. It's fair enough if you're stressed. But this is your job, and to ruin my perception of the business is not any fault of mine. Anyway, to make things worse, we arrived just after a powercut had taken out the electricity. It was quite sunny outside which made the interior look all that much darker. We were not told anything regarding this, just to start helping outselves to the salads and other buffet style food laid out in the back of the shop. It's incredibly difficult when you can't actually see anything! Not to mention it took about 30 minutes for any meat to start appearing... Onto the meats. Given the description of the voucher, I was under the impression that the meat would be cooked to order. However, meat comes around in cycles every 10-15 minutes and you don't get a choice! It's either Yes/No to that round. As non-beef eaters, there were then rounds we couldn't partake in. The one highlight of the experience is that the grill chef noted this and didn't offer us any more beef and went out his way to substitute beef rounds with either pork chicken or lamb. That said, the variety is not as wide as the groupon claims. Not once did chicken heart appear. And some meat was near on inedible. What we did get to try were lamb, pork sausage, pork shoulder, chicken thigh and pork belly. A lot of this was tough, chewy. However when meats came around again, they would sometimes be better or worse. Either way, it was disappointing. Not to mention we were asked a few times whether we had finished, the first time after only having had 2 meat servings. Almost felt like we were being rushed out. The salads/rice/beans were good, but were nothing special. We felt the meats were supposed to be the attraction, but were not good enough, whilst being filled with salad that were actually a lot better. The cocktail was good, but again, I thought we would get a choice. But all you get is Cachaça, which I can't complain about, since I love it. Also the dessert is just an Iceland style chocolate gateau. Disappointing to the max. My dad asked if were could have instead the blackforest gateau right next to it. We were strictly told no. I was surprised, as it wouldn't have cost them anything more, and bought them some goodwill. In all we didn't feel well treated during this lunch and would never go back again. The Groupon choice was restricted to items not clearly explained at the start, service was abrupt and contemptuous, food not near good enough to serve to paying public. I really wanted to have my mind changed about Brazillian food, but this only cemented my bad (personal) experiences with it. Other Groupon holders seemed to be going through a similar experience as eye contact said everything. How this company even managed to sign up to Groupon given the horrendous difficult making a telephone booking is beyond me.

Wide range of choices and waiter is happy to bring out any meat you are waiting for. Live music was entertaining and added to atmosphere. One member of our party was a vegetarian and was very happy with what was available. Another two only ate chicken as they don't eat meat. We all left feeling very satisfied. I will return.

The first time I went to this restaurant, the ambience was great, there was a live Tango dance going on, the food was good and it was generally very lively. I went again at around the same time on a Friday evening and it just seemed like an old pub people got tired of going to. There was no music, the napkins had changed to paper napkins and the service was so tacky that I wanted to walk behind the bar and sort it out. But I wanted food more. I opted for the steak again because I enjoyed it the last time and it was just OK this time around. The vegetables to me tasted like frozen vegetables which had been steamed and not flavoured at all. I was dashing salt everywhere. I am disappointed to say that I didn't enjoy it the second time because I did like the restaurant the first time around. Would I be lucky the third time?

The Favela Cantagalo was the highlight. The beef was tender and there were a lot of nice flavours, especially if you like plantains. I really liked the presentation: lots of bright colours! A very fun dish which my partner ended up eating. Despite everything, I found the sweetness of the plantains overwhelming the dish although this is more personal preference than anything else. This was good in flavor however bringing the plates, I felt that it was not adequate to use so many plate to serve one main and this wasn't big either. We also ordered dessert and it was a flan, really nice and tasty. 3) Service and hospitality: Utterly disgraceful. The manager was nice and I felt that he was somewhat welcoming however the waiter that attended us was not, primarily to me. My friend who was there was a woman and so the waiter attended and was smiling more to her than to me and then in food. The dessert, she got more than I did and I am a man. This gave me the impression that the waiter and cooks were sexist because as a customer and a man, I deserve the same quantity as any other person. I am also Peruvian so in South America, this would be unacceptable at the highest level. I told the waiter I spoke Spanish but he did not and so made the language barrier difficult. The waiter talked too fast and since we did not know Portuguese, the guy still kept talking like that. 4)Pricing: decently priced however not worth it in my opinion (e.g: beef meal was £20 however took long to come). Overall this is what I have to say: If you want food at a cheap price in cheap "restaurant" with cheap staff who treat you differently if you are of a certain gender and are of Latin or Hispanic heritage, come here! The staff was excellent, they kept the meat coming and the buffet filled. They were available and accommodating. The environment was lively and fun. The desserts were excellent. The space was a but cramped and with the long she skewers the servers ( all of them) knocked into something at nearly every pass at ours or other table. It became expected and funny. They apologized profusely. Overall a quality and fun experience. Come hungry!

This was despite the fact that the restaurant was 90% empty on a Tuesday night, and that I was unable to reach them to make a reservation that day; their phone had been continuously engaged or left unanswered. I saw a similar comment on Tripadvisor, and we got the strong feeling that they didn't want GroupOn customers at all - and regretted having put the voucher online. The salad bar was pretty eh; not like the amazing resplendent ones typical of a cruise ship that I'm used to. The meats itself were decent; they probably brought out 10 or so kinds of meat (different beef cuts, chicken wings, sauges, lamb, pineapple for desert etc). They also brought out garlic bread on a skewer, which was pretty funny. However, I'm used to the rapid fire approach of the US places where you almost have to beg them to stop serving you. The food was decent for the promotional price (15 quid), although I'm not in a huge rush to go back and definitely not for 20 quid (the normal price) Pros: - Meat and lots of it - Service was pretty good Cons: - Combination of dim lighting and meat makes you very tired. So unless you have a car or live in Chelsea, it was citymapper to the rescue to find this place (look for the neon bunga bunga sign). They've gone for fun over authenticity with the Brazilian beach shack theme, so just go with it! My mate had booked the bar on the upper floor for private hire until 10.30pm, after which they let the public in too. It's a fun, brightly-coloured space complete with waiters in lifeguard sweatshirts and shorts, and a bar made out of the shell of a camper van. Caipirinhas are the bar's speciality and the barman was happy to mix up any flavour I wanted. They're pricey but strong, and served in (impossible to hold!) little buckets with straws. Once they opened the place up though it got overcrowded pretty quick, and we found it even worse on the next floor down when we went for a dance. I'd had quite enough caipirinhas to keep me going by then but I don't think I'd have had the patience for the massive crowd at the bar then anyway! It was a fun eve but I couldn't help getting the feeling from the door staff, bar staff, cloakroom lady and drinks prices that this is an a-ok place that thinks it's a lot better than it actually is...

Hi I ordered the android tablet on KGB deals on 28 June and redeemed voucher on same day on NAG website. Paid postage £14.99 by bank transfer. I only ever received an acknowledgment of the order from NAG and nothing else. I became concerned so telephoned their office no reply. Clearly they do not want to speak to customers. I left messages via their online contact form = no reply. I felt something wasn't right so looked online and found all these negative comments and felt very angry. I sent messages to KGB and they took some time to reply and told me to contact NAG The final straw came last week when NAG said they were ready to dispatch order but were waiting to receive postage payment. I decided to take things further. I'm a lawyer so I sent an email from work to KGB and NAG. I said they were both in breach of contract and if I hadn't received a refund within 7 days I would seek a remedy from court and hold them both liable as KGB is the agent. I received a response from KGB immediately and they said they need to enquire with NAG and I've given them 6 business days just so that I look reasonable. Today I've received an email from NAG saying the order has been dispatched. I don't know if I should accept delivery because if there are problems it's going to be hell. This experience has put me off deals. Send a letter to both KGB and NAG to their registered addresses. Im happy to supply you with a copy of the letter I have sent. They are an unscrupulous company who are taking hard earned cash from people like us. read more

Like the other comments here, I too have found that NotAnotherGift.com is a scam, but also I have now come to the conclusion that Gumtree Deals does not care and is not fit to do business. My experience is this: on 6 February 2012 I paid £25.99 by Credit Card to Gumtree for a Negative Ion Swarovski Crystal Cluster Pendant. I redeemed my Gumtree voucher online with NotAnotherGift.com on 22 February, and got an automatic acknowledgment of my order, but never got the goods. All my online messages to NotAnotherGift.com have gone unanswered, and their phone number is never answered by a person, just a message saying there is no one here to deal with your call. Last week on 5 April 2012 I personally visited the given address for NotAnotherGift.com at 145-157 St John Street EC1V 4WP and discovered that they are not known there, and never have been. Absolutely no trace. Just a business services company who insist they have never heard of NotAnotherGift.com. I have sent many messages to Gumtree, all acknowledged with an automatic ticket number, but not a single reply. It now seems to me that Gumtree itself is being run as a scam. I have found loads of complaints about all aspects of their business. In my opinion they should now be officially banned from doing business in the U.K. and I am of course now taking my complaint further to help bring this about to save others from being ripped off in the same way. Just like everyone else I too ordered this tablet from NAG through KGB Deals and have been ripped off although to be fair I don't think the problem lies with KGB as all agents that are dealing with NAG are having the same problem, I think the buck stops with NAG. I too have phoned and emailed both companies to NO avail, I have now contacted my credit card company and started a dispute against this pruchase. I did get to speak to a receptionist use the number that bradley_field gave ( thanks) who took my number and said someone would phone me back, didn't happen, I also recieved an email from KGB saying they would enquire into this and to give them 6 days, this after I informed them that I was contacting my credit card company and trading standards, again still waiting, soooo frustrating. I will send in my paperwork to my c/card company and get my money back that way but can safetly say bye bye to p&p money, yet another lesson learned. New up-date, since posting this comment and contacting my c/card company I have now recieved my tablet with apoligies from kgb ( no apoloies from NAG but). Tablet is working great until 1 usb port stopped working but no big problem just use a muiltible usb extention block so alls good, my advise keep emailing your agent and tell them your contacting paypal, c/card company etc and also trading standards it should help, that's what I done, good luck to everyone thats in this postion. read more

I ordered their 10inch Andriod Tablet through Mighty Deals voucher, paid on the 16th May and paid the £14.99 postage to NAG on the 20th May and to date (53 days later) I have NOT received my goods. I have phoned their customer services number numerous times over the last 4 weeks and always receive a recorded message saying All our customer services advisors are busy if you have not received your goods, please use our website and send us a message Ive sent them 5 web messages, received confirmation that the message has been delivered, but NO RESPONSE. Phoned Mighty Deals and complained last Thursday 5th July to be told "We will look into this matter and phone you back today or tomorrow No return call either 5th or 6th. Phoned them again on Monday 9th July to be told they were still looking into the matter and they would phone me back same or next day. No return call, so I phoned back this morning 11th July and they still hadn't resolved the matter. Yes, same advice We'll phone you back later today. It's now nearly 5pm and I'm still waiting. This is a ridiculous state of affairs, between the andriod tablet and postage I have paid £140 and have nothing to show for it. I have told both companies if the matter is not resolved by Friday 13th July, I'm reporting both companies to Trading Standards. I would not purchase any other deals from these companies and certainly would not recommend them to anyone. JG read more

Please do not believe any of the 'fake' positive reviews on this webiste. After making a purchase through 'Gumtree Daily Deals' I received my android tab 8 weeks after I placed my order, after numerous unanswered emails and calls to chase where it was. Once I received the tab I was appalled to find that it had been used before, as the previous owner had even left the photographs they had taken with the integrated camera on the tab. When trying to download content from lovefilm and other various reputable sites I was always told that as the tab was 'rooted' that I could not download anything. Apparently from the information I have read 'rooted' is the tab version of a gaming device being 'chipped'! I have sent over 2 dozen emails to the company which have gone unanswered and also called the number many many times only to be told there is no one time take my call. I also raised a dispute with my credit card company over the transaction as I thought that purchasing it in the first place on my credit card would afford me some kind of protection. Alas as the money goes to gumtree and only purchases a voucher and not to notanothergift.com I am not covered and now have a useless piece of crap cluttering up my living room. I am unable to return the goods as no one will respond to my emails and I am unable to get my money back. read more

Like many more on here i also purchased the android tablet from notanothergift.com through KGB. ONLY, i didn't purchase one.i purchased two! One for myself and one as a gift for my husband! six weeks after paying the postage i received the first. This is after many emails to notanothergift.com and KGB. It was turned on a matter of about five times before it wont get any further than the 'android' start up screen! The second tablet still hasn't arrived and it is now a full two months since i ordered. Worryingly is the fact that although i have order confirmation there is no note at all on my account with NAG of the second order. Email after email has been sent in hope that i would get at least one reply. To no avail! I did email once and received a reply from Amelia. Even said thank you for finally replying to my email in hope that kindness pays off! Obviously it only pays off for one tablet. £270 i have paid out including the postage..never mind the time spent sending emails and making numerous telephone calls which are always answered by answering machinetherefore costing me money yet again! I am at my wits end with this now! Anybody know the best thing to do from here? I paid for them via my debit card so cant even get my money back that way can i? Any advice is welcomed! Ordered the android tablet on KGB deals on 23 June and redeemed voucher on same day.and paid the delivery of 14.99. Have sent many emails since the 23rd June and also made many phone calls which go unanswered asking for an update on my order. I received the first email from them on the 13 July hurray which said my order had being dispatched and would be with me by Friday the 20th July. Guess what it the 20th July and still not received my Android tablet. This company deserve to be closed down as customers are the ones that suffer. This company continue to make interest on your money while you have nothing. Plus if you paid by credit card your credit card company will continue to charge you for something you do not have. Take my advice KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Their name suites them as you will not receive another gift. read more

I brought the voucher from KGB at the begining of June. I placed my order on the 14th June. At first the communication was good , they sent a couple of emails telling me what to expect. I have sent a number of emails and trying calling and had no reply . On monday I contacted KGB and told them I had not received the item . they contacted the company and that day the status of my account was changed to Dispatched . Kgb come back and said it was in transit . I must say from reading all these reviews I am not holding my breath for this to either turn up or to be working when IF it does. Thw worst thing is that KGB have the same offer today from notanothergift. I have just emailed them to say how ridiculous this is. read more

Im having problems with KGB deals uk & Notanothergift.com can never get a straight answer from them regarding the Android Tablet I ordered! I used Twitter & wait for it .I got a answer although not the 1 I was hoping for but simply to say contact them & they would sort it out for me. Got a couple of emails from them 1 said my order had been dispatched whilst another email 2 days later said that they couldnt locate my order!!! I payed for mine using Paypal so I have opened up a dispute so fingers crossed I can get my money back that way after reading all the comments it does not fill me with hope the Android Tablet is going to arrive or even work! will keep you posted if I get any joy :) read more

This has been the worst birthday for my son, having got very excited at recieving an android ipad. This joy was short lived when after 2 hours of using stopped. The charger didnt work, after several attempts to communicate via email, we gave up and spent £20 on a charger. However this did not seem to work and various other astempts top use the other facilities were not working. All in all rubbish. We are still trying through trading standards to get a refund, and have since had a recorded delivery letter returned, however will try again. This is so sad that a company can steal public money uising a faulty product that has no warranty, no label and not fit for purpose. Lesley Hodson read more

Same here with Notanothergift seems to be a complete fraud! Purchased this voucher for the Android tablet via Mighty Deals, paid the postage to Notanothergift at the end of May. Since then several mails have been kept unanswered, noone is answering phone calls, and of course no tablet arrived AFTER TWO MONTHS. Looks like the money is lost! There is no answer neither from Notanothergift nor from Mighty Deals, to make sure there is no misunderstanding. Therefore, both of them seem to be fraudulent. I am very amazed about this because I thought that Mighty Deals used to be serious company, but at least they obvously do not check the companies, they are working with. read more

KGB didnt getting back to me so i put on there facebook page Kgb and not another gift.com have ripped me off big time within 5min kgb sent me a message asking my details got an email later on that saying i had missed the deadline and there's nothing they could do and couldnt refund me as it was my fault. I sent them 3 emails in total telling them the hassle i had and about this page with all the bad reviews and how it looks like this is a scam got a full refund from kgb this afternoon. But the delivery is gone but at least i have my money back so i can buy my son something else for his xmas. read more

I purchased three bras on tha Gumtree daily deals from notanothergift.com. Despite numerous attempts to find out where they are and one email from Gumtree saying they would be there by the end of the week (about four weeks ago) still nothing and no responses. I am disgusted that it appears so many people have had the same experience and yet still they get away with it. Thankfully my purchase was about £40 I think but I feel so sorry for those who have lost more money. How do they get away with this scam. I think they are both raking the money in through this scam and that's why Gumtree don't do something about it. read more

I bought one of these and have received it. The instruction manual is a joke. I have been trying to charge it and the tablet does say it is charging. However the battery indicator remains a small red lien at the base of the battery. When it is plugged in, I have been able to power up and set the date and time etc. However, I won't always be able to plug it in. Have not had a reponse from NotAnotherGift to this problem. Am thinking of taking matter up with credit card provider and Trading Standards. If it won't charge, then it's no good! Anyone got any tips on how to get it to work? read more

I have bought an item on Gumtree Deals that is advertised by NotAnotherGift. After buying I checked the NotAnotherGift website and found that it has a security risk. In short my security software just would not allow me go anywhere near their checkout page due to the security risks involved. I warned Gumtree Deals about this vendor and they offered me a refund which I received very quickly. I would avoid not just NotAnotherGift but also any vendor website that does not implement the security measures required by the on-line shopping sector. read more

iam absolutely sick of this company and totally disgusted now that i have read that alot of people are in the same boat. unfortunately we bought four plus paid for the postage via the gumtree website. Surely a company such as GUMTREE would check out companies before they advertised there products. We have lost (i say lost as i doubt we will ever see our orders £470. iam disappointed in GUMTREE and doubt i will be keen to purchase anything from them again. Janey. read more

I am disgusted to see the amount of complaints and am in the same position as most people who purchased the Android. mine does not work at all now and I purchased it in june. I recieved it in August after 2 months of emailing. i dont know what to do now as there has been no response to my complaints to NAG I have read what everyone has said and will try my credit card co. me too wish i had read the reviews before buying it. read more

I would NOT recommend this company. I hand have had nothing from notanothergift.com, and by nothing I MEAN NOTHING. I made the purchase on 3 Feb, it's now the 26th. I have tried to contact notanothergift.com several times, the website has no contact number or email address, the only way is to complete an online form and wait for a reply in 48hours, I am still waiting for my first attempt that was made on the 14 Feb. read more

I can't say enough about this company! I must admit I was a little concerned about buying an electronic item online so I called and spoke to Corine who described the Android tablet in detail, she even got one out of the box and explained it's functions to me. Also wanted to give a zero rating, After a copious amount of emails to both KGB deals and notanothergift.com i have finally been able to get a refund on my purchase but not holding my breath on getting the £14.99 postage back. i Have had exactly the same problem as all of you and have been lucky to be able to actually talk to kgb deals. If any one needs the number straight to an adviser just reply to this!!! read more
