There's ample parking for patrons and the building itself has high ceilings for lots of air circulation. On my visit they had a small stage for the talent to speak about their experiences as well as a separate room for signings/photos. My teacher Sarah was so encouraging and knowledgeable. I learned the basics of throwing on the wheel, hand building and glazing. The class was so much fun I sighed up for a 3 month membership. Such a wonderful space to come and create. Everything you need with any questions answered by knowledgeable staff.

We took a pottery wheel demo course today which seems like is a great intro or refresher if you're a total novice or just starting your wheel work. I think this or the Clay Date Night experience would be great options depending on what you're looking for. During today's class there were other people doing independent work and they would intermittently offer a suggestion or two to the participants in the demo class which created a welcoming, communal environment. You will need to wedge your own clay in the demo course so if you want to just show up and have everything ready for you, maybe go with the date night option. If you want to learn a little bit more about the craft in general, this is a great option.

I took a choose your own item class - and I made a holiday sled which looks phenomenal by the way on my porch or near my fireplace and my husband made a tray. I also made an engraved hat with a friend.They also have kid and family friendly options. The owner Julie and employees are lovely - they hire retired educators & people with disabilities as well. They really make sure you have a good time and get the result you want, with lots of hands on support and help as needed. There's a Chevys and Sugarfire nearby making it a great date night combo. I…read moreattended a workshop where the process was clearly explained by the staff who was there to assist and offer suggestions the entire time. I was pleased to be able to leave the project there, partially finished, rather than rush through the project during the workshop. When going back to complete a workshop project, you do not have to pay a studio fee since that was worked into the initial price. I was able to go and finish gluing my project, using as much of the tiles/stained glass/porcelain as I wanted. I then took home my project as well as grout and a small kit containing a cloth, cuts of newspaper, and a few others things to grout at home, although I could have returned to the studio a third time to do that there if I wanted. Many members of my family go as well and have all expressed the same gratitude for the opportunity to create something new in a comfortable place at our own pace. Project prices (walk-in or workshop) aren't cheap but neither are the materials they provide. Everything I've made there has held up well and they rotate available projects. If you're unsure about project costs or studio fees, ask them before you start. They can recommend projects within your budget and explain the studio fee. They're not out to price gouge, running an art studio with quality materials and trained staff isn't cheap. I typically spend $70 per mosaic project/workshop, if you're looking for a rough estimate. They also sell cute kits for small mosaic projects to do at home, which make a great gift. I highly recommend checking out Yucandu. (thanks Yucandu team!)

We had a free hour studio session and a $45 gift card and after only spending thirty minutes here we still owed $53, we only painted. If you do ceramic, mosaic or anything else it's a lot more. It is very pricey for heads up. The kids really enjoyed it! They have a cool artwork displayed sadly you can not purchase it. Which is a bummer! I recommend doing this at least once with your kids!

The process was pretty easy and they did explain there were a couple times. I had to ask questions but other than that, it was very easy, especially for beginner. We did the Hot Cocoa and Paint party today and it was lovely! They made it easy and fun for kids of…read moreall ages. My 5 y/o and I used it as a date opportunity, which was perfect. We were able to do an art project side by side and drink hot cocoa. When he was done with his project, one of the owners organized some board games with the kids that he was very into. The party was small, with 5 kids total I think. You can tell they are comfortable working with kids, which you would think is a given, but you would be surprised how many places we have been to and they are not. They were kind and we had a great experience. My 5 y/o said "I LOVED it there!" They just opened in November so show them some love. Great addition to the neighborhood.

I think we finished with a few minutes to spare. I loved the functional swings that greet you walking through the front door. We did the add on ring light to help illuminate certain backdrops. It came in handy. I would totally visit again and take more pictures here. If you've never done it, it's a cool hangout for an hour for a small group of friends. Check it out!
