I say this because it's not very traditional in the sense of a restaurant service. It's more of a cafeteria style with a gypsy vibe. Like a fusion of an abstract art exhibit meets a hippy college dorm room, meets a cafeteria, meets a bazaar. It is collaborated with a few businesses ("The Urban Food Brood"-"Corsello Butchery"- "Happy Man"-Forest Doe Botanicals"-"Monsoon Roastery"). A very supportive community. The seating is very cozy but awkward. Great place to meet up with friends or make new friends. Now for the food. It was fantastic. The French toast - was light, fluffy and delicate. Very different from what you would typically expect but absolutely delicious. The Hot Friggin Goat Sammie- no, it was not spicy but savory! This fried egg, fig jam, goat cheese, onion, & arugula on brioche was entirely delightful. The fig jam was a perfect sweet puzzle piece to this savory yet sweet Sammie. The Mushroom Toast - Garlic Herb spread, sauteed mushrooms, cara-melized onions, greens, balsamic & parmesan... was scrumptious!!! Perfect balance of ingredients. Over all.... Great breakfast spot in downtown Geneva. Lots of seating both inside and out. We went on a Sunday about 9:30 and there was a 10 minute wait. Our server was great and food was really good. I had the an omelette. I think it was called the farmhouse or something similar. It was the only vegetarian omelette on the menu. It was very tasty, lots of veggies and swiss cheese. My side of bacon was a little undercooked for my taste, but that was the only issue. The potatoes that come with the omelette are melt in your mouth tasty. read more

Long overdue for a visit but made a point to reward some employees of mine with gift cards for hitting a work goal. Ordered the salmon sammie off the special menu which was delicious! Always forget to look to see what they have for specials so happy I glanced over. Also purchased a red velvet cheesecake dessert which I inhaled. Bringing home with me a blueberry bread which I cannot wait to throw on the stove with butter! Love what the did with the place. Re-did the boards, added bookcases, and filled the center of the room with two tables to sit at rather than the old layout with multiple spread around. One of the best places I've ever eaten at! On a trip to Springfield, my friend found this spot looking for a nice coffee, but as we soon found out, we were in for so much more. I ordered the BBQ Pork & Mango Breakfast Bowl and was blown away by the flavor! I would never think to have mango with a meal like this but this was such a great compliment. the restaurant itself is very beautiful. as soon as you go in, you're greeted by a nice man and his bookstore. the atmosphere is perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch. i typically order the "pig in a sombrero" and it is a 5 star sandwich for sure. We came for brunch on a Saturday morning. The weather was lovely. We had a great time sitting outdoors and dining. I ordered Katy's Power Salad with the must-try corn soup. Both are really good. For the salad, it came with greens, grains, grapes, apples, pickled beets, feta, almonds, craisins, cukes, Sunflower seeds, and pepitas, served with lemon vinaigrette ( the dressing is delicious!). I added crispy eggplant bacon, making it an even more powerful salad bowl. Not just healthy, but more tasty. For the soup, I tried corn soup which I don't typically order in cafes. All because there's a line of *must-try next to it. I am glad I did. The corn soup is flavorful and delicious. Priority, let people know that to get to Nosh you need to go around the back of the building while there is construction going on at the MassMutual Center! There is a back alley way off Harrison Avenue. I felt like I was inside of an oak tree when I walked into Nosh. A big welcoming table takes up most of the space, making it a bit tight when waiting during a lunch rush, but there was comfortable room to sit or stand still. Also some good tables outside with live music. I had the tuna salad and rally enjoyed the quality of the bread. The three bean salad was also yummy!! Came here for an early breakfast with my husband and dog. This place is pet friendly, and the staff was kind enough to bring out a bowl and treats for our little pup. More importantly, and for the humans, this place sits near Main Street but is tucked away so you don't feel like you're in the city. Absolutely love the vibes of this place! We went on a rainy Saturday afternoon and there was live music that really livened up the day :) Choosing what to get was near impossible as literally everything single thing on their menu sounded amazing to me. We ended up going with the black bean burger and Thanksgiving sandwich to share. The burger was not really a burger patty, but more so black beans and melted cheese in phyllo dough which was sooo much better than a patty in my opinion! It also had fresh mango on it that really added a nice fresh twist and it was on the best homemade focaccia. The Thanksgiving one was my personal favorite though. They made it with chicken instead of turkey, but I did not care. The cranberry sauce and the gravy they give you in which to dip the sandwich... YUM Both sandwiches came with a piece of watermelon which was a fun change of pace from the usual unhealthy sides. Would definitely recommend checking this place out! read more

We found this quirky hip restaurant while searching for a brunch place and it was fabulous. The outdoor sitting area was so colorful and we had our Pet dog with us, and it was a pet friendly place. It even gave a dog bowl for our pet and that was sweet. It is hard to come by. We ordered a ton of sandwiches: their specials, Mango Tango, barbecue chicken and a sweet corn panini sandwich. I also ordered the coconut iced coffee. The food came fast and was extremely delightful to look at. The portion sizes were huge. You can taste the fresh produce and the love. The place is pretty highly rated and I can see why. The customers never stop coming to this place. It has a colorful vibe that matches the quirkiness of the food. If you are on main street, you won't find this restaurant until you enter the marketplace. But at the rear end of the marketplace the street is very calm and quiet. Nosh is near the Bruce Landon way. We preferred the outdoor seating as we brought a dog with us. The outdoor seats were very colorful. We ordered the Figgy Pig, Mango Tango, Green Monster and Street corn Panini with chicken. Out of all the dishes I will prefer the Panini followed by Mango. All the ingredients were very fresh and they serve very soft focaccia bread. I didn't quite like the iced coffee that we had also ordered. We didn't try any dessert. As a tourist I was happy. Overall it was a nice experience. read more

Nosh was a great place to grab breakfast! We needed something near our hotel quick and someone recommended this place to us -- it was within walking distance so we decided to check it out. The restaurant is actually kind of hidden so you're gonna want to look carefully. This place is in a pretty deserted plaza but it had a lot of antiques so it was interesting and pretty neat to see these antiques. They have a breakfast menu but they also have a lunch menu as well so there are plenty of options. I ordered the BBQ Pork & Mango Breakfast Bowl, Fish & Corn Chowder and a Long Way Back Cider (and yes I had a Cider at 9:30AM in the morning). The bowl was pretty good! The mango flavor wasn't strong and paired well with the BBQ pork so it was interesting to see that. New England is known for their chowder, and they weren't wrong. The fish & corn chowder was super warm for the rainy day I was presented with. It was super filling. Overall -- it was a good visit; A great local place to grab breakfast! We were looking for a place for "brunch" and found Nosh on Yelp. The location is hidden behind Main Street. The space is cute and welcoming. The person taking our order was a little short with us; but maybe it's an East coast thing ( I'm from the west coast) the cocktails were good but a little sweet. The sandwiches we ordered were amazing. But we did have to ask for them to bring the 3 bean salad side which comes with the meal. They forgot to put it onto the plate. And my sandwich did have the apple sticker on the sandwich; which I learned are made to be edible for this exact reason. I'd say give this place a try. I popped into Nosh on a Friday afternoon for lunch - it was bumping. I ordered the Goldfinger sandwich - I'd heard great things so I figured why not. The toppings were fresh and they clearly used fresh roasted chicken. Unfortunately, their honey mustard was very watery resulting in a messy sandwich experience. Nice little cafe. We had the vegetarian "meatloaf" melt and Thanksgiving melt. Both were delicious, but seemed like they were missing something flavor-wise. Portions are good for $9, but could use a larger size option. What I didn't like was the in-your-face super political statements all over the inside and outside of the cafe. It made me very uncomfortable. I was looking forward to a delicious meal - not to be lectured to by the obviously super, super leftist beliefs of the workers and owners plastered throughout the cafe. This is my favorite local restaurant! Nosh is fantastic! The staff is always friendly and food is always good. I fist came across them years ago when they were catering a function I attended. The food was SO GOOD that I had to seek them out. I enjoy their options and get excited about their specials. Only bummer is that they had these outrageously delicious Oaties a few years ago that they don't make anymore. Kate's Power Salad is high up on my list. Also good are the figgy piggy and the mango tango. Also, always get their side of cucumbers! They are refrigerator pickles that are so tasty! read more
