great place! I've been servicing my vehicles here for years now. Having a small area for children…read moreto play in is such a game changer. Don't even get me started with the free coffee they offer it's delicious and fresh.

CONSUMER BEWARE. If negative numbers were available Matthews would have received. I brought my 2025…read moreExplorer in for recall notifications,10K service and NYS inspection. I was running my snow tires as they were still good for summer but would not be good for upcoming winter. When vehicle was done I received call and was told that vehicle did not pass inspection as tires were so bad that steel cords were showing. The rep told me that they could get new tires in a couple of days, provided cost, and by the way the vehicle also needs alignment. I told them that I had summer tires,so they offered to install. I refused their offer. When I picked up car the vehicle, I became really concerned that Matthews was trying to sell me tires that I didn't need. As apart of the 10K service I received a report the tires all had tread over 7/32, green box checked. I immediately texted them and questioned why tech passed tires on their report but tires had "steel cords" showing. I asked if possibly they mixed up my vehicle with some one else. The service manger talked with tech and they stood by the failure of inspection. I subsequently received a another text and I was correct that tech had mixed up brake evaluation with tread wear evaluation. By the way the brake report also had all green boxes checked. They suggested that I bring vehicle back, I refused. I took my vehicle to my regular shop and both the manager and tech looked at tires. There were definitely no cords showing and vehicle passed inspection. I sill wonder what Matthews motivation was with the whole ordeal. My opinion is that even though I live in Norwich I purchased vehicle out of town. The reason for buying out of town was because of a not so great experience with Matthews sales department on a different vehicle. Only my opinion, not provable.
