The caring staff provided exactly the care and medication that he needed. Within 2 weeks of applying the medication his eye was noticeably improved and now the injury is completely healed and it is impossible to tell that it was ever injured. I've had to advocate for my dog so much that I get exhausted just thinking about having to explain his issues and expecting pushback. I didn't get that here. They understood and agreed to keep him on his meds. Even calling for a urine test, they accommodated me when they didn't have to. Maybe that's how things are done in Iowa but that wasn't the case for most vets in Fort Worth. I'd recommend them solely on my brief interaction thus far. It's been a relief especially for something that already is incredibly stressful.

A staff member arrived for something else, and she reluctantly agreed to release the dog. (nobody explained there was a pickup time only in the afternoon, they just said I'd need the ticket to claim her) I got her home, and it was obvious she had not been provided adequate options to poo. She immediately did 3 dumps worth, clearly backed up for well over a day. Aside from that, I would not use this clinic because of the cloying/overpowering fragrance spray they use. Being in the lobby is a battle against nausea and a race against the clock to get out quickly because of the smell. The staff are friendly, they obviously care but whomever they use for weekend boarding suuuuuucks.

Now, the cat is in heart failure due to endocarditis. It strikes me that, antibiotics are given to humans prior to dental work just for this reason. Why would you not do that for animals. I wonder now if a DVM was even involved in this procedure. I would not recommend this establishment bases what has transpired in this case. Today I have to put this animal down. BTW, this cat is 18 years old.
