Dr Mathis took the time to review my dog Stevie's previous records and then met with me for the most thorough consultation I have ever experienced. She went over all the details, the possible outcomes, provided in depth information, videos, pictures-diagrams and answered all my questions. The consult was not rushed and I felt at ease knowing everything up front, pre-procedure, actual timelines, fees & followup. I was equipped with all the information and expectations and she taught me a tremendous amount regarding dental care which is invaluable and an ease to the stress and anxiety. Ann was available when I needed her and was so responsive, she provides an outrageous support that I truly appreciate. I recommend the Family Pet Veterinary Center and Dr. Jen Mathis and her dental team to anyone looking for incredible care. Thank you so much for everything, you are the absolute best hands down!

We had been texting about it prior to my going in so I was inwardly a bit upset that it was just assumed he would get it. I still do appreciate their help with my elderly dog.

Now, the cat is in heart failure due to endocarditis. It strikes me that, antibiotics are given to humans prior to dental work just for this reason. Why would you not do that for animals. We recently had to make the very difficult decision to put our 18 year old cat (Rex) to sleep, and it gave me a moment to reflect on the fantastic support that Fleur Pet Hospital provided over the years, especially as more medical care was needed later in his life. As animal guardians, when our pets our healthy, visits to the vet are straightforward. The staff here does a great job - ensuring clear communication with a caring approach - to ensure the routine visits are informative and efficient to minimize stress to our animals. When we boarded Rex over the years, he LOVED staying at the vet (he had a wonderful life at home too). The care and updates provided by staff reassured us that he was doing well, and he was always in the best of spirits when we came to pick him up. As pets age or medical issues appear, we rely on our vet and their staff to inform us and guide us on what the options are as we make often difficult decisions on treatment and care. Over the past few years as Rex started to experience medical challenges, Dr. Williams has consistently been excellent about explaining the conditions and challenges as well as working with us to outline options for plans of care and executing those plans. She works with us to evaluate how the options were working and if we needed to adjust. We always had a team looking out for Rex. Recently, when it became clear that Rex's quality of life required us to evaluate what was best for him, Dr. Williams provided the right balance of compassion and education to help lead us through that very difficult decision. I am truly grateful to them for providing Rex such excellent care and would trust them with any of our beloved family pets.

Vet prescribed antibiotics for a tooth infection she said would be general purpose and knock out any infection he might have. Wrong. Ended up at BluePearl in triage having his bladder drained.
