We got to climb the fire tower, fish at the local lakes and dams, dance around with our family and friends, and enjoy the stars at night. Everything is very clean when arriving. My brother and I fished with Ryan (Mille Lacs Lake) for two and half days targeting smallmouth and…read morewalleye. It was one of the most successful charters I have ever used. The first day we boated 25+ smallmouth. The smallest being just shy of 4lbs. On that day we boated 10 smallmouth that were over 5lbs, with the largest being 5lbs, 15ozs. The second day we targeted walleye and limited out in about 2 1/2 hrs. We also had similar results as of day one, targeting smallmouth the rest of the day. The third day we only fished for 4hrs for smallmouth and boated 15 fish between 2.5lbs and 5lbs. Another excellent day on the water. Ryan is one of the most knowledgeable guides you could hire. Very willing to teach fish habits/trends, history of the lake, use of gear, techniques, and boating. He is a very patient and will go to great lengths to adapt to weather, lake conditions, and his clients wishes to make your day on the water the most successful possible. It's clear that Ryan's expertise and dedication made a huge difference. Thanks Ryan, we will definitely use again.
