The greens are in great shape and the tee boxes are what you would expect from a par 3. 1 round was $7 and since we went on a Monday afternoon and people were more busy playing either 9 or 18 on their bigger course, we had this whole thing to ourselves, the entire time. That meant taking 3 or 4 drives per hole or practicing chipping on the green with multiple balls. Since their was a nice breeze, it kept the bugs down but I could see them being a problem. Will go back? Definitely. This place and Pitch-n-Putt in Pequot Lakes are both great places to go.

Tee boxes were not mowed low, basically teeing off from the rough. Also no beverage cart on a busy Sunday, and no liquor sales before 10am! Carts: Nice performing electric carts, no GPS or Infotainment system. For the course fee and cart fee they should have this. Course: very nicely maintained so long as you stay on fairways. Narrow rough, and if you get off of that you are in trees and roots or dirt. Greens were very plush and big. Beer Cart: Yes, seemed to have one for front and back. Had good selection. Pace: The rangers did comment once about our group of Wives (asked us to tell them) but they had people in front of them as well. It was about 2:20 for 9. I think this was more a function of filling too many tee times and a narrow course.

We were there for the Jenkins, VFW's 40th anniversary celebration. (Best meat raffle in the state) We'd most definitely go again! The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the landscaping wasn't finished at that time, it was that new. But judging by the rest of the place, I'm sure it will be lovely, when completed. My husband had to spend at least 15 minutes trying to get the deck to where we could actually sit out on it and enjoy the view of the lake we had from our condo. We had a two bedroom unit with the master bedroom up the most harrowing steps I have seen in a long time. The rest of the resort is pretty nice. There was an indoor pool and hot tub that could be reached from our condo without ever going outside. Also, there were two restaurants in the same building. The bed was comfortable and everything worked. As RCI resorts go, this one was par for the course. We have learned not to expect too much and make the best of what we find. We have found some that were much worse.

We are sitting around a campfire talking and was talked to. Richard also followed a fellow camper down the the lake and watched him from the dark. It was a little creepy. The owners are not personable at all and probably should not be in a customer service based business. I will never recommend this campground to anyone and will never be going back.
