There were two holes where there was a small lake where there wasn't supposed to be a lake due to rain runoff and poor drainage but other than that, greens were smooth and rolled true, fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Flowers throughout the course were lovely. We played the forward tees which was just under 5200 yards which is a good distance. It was a challenging course. The back nine especially, had a lot of swamps or fescue to hit around. I wasn't in the sand a lot but lost a few balls to woods and swamps. Carts had GPS which I like for yardage because I don't have a scope. Despite the cart-path-only directive, we played the front nine in about two hours and the back slightly longer than that. The course was packed. Mondays are reduced price days so lots of people taking advantage of that. They have a beautiful bar/restaurant facility. At the turn, they have a nice stand with hot and cold food and beverages. We found all staff to be friendly. Great experience.

From the moment we were picked up, this fantastic adventure began. The shuttle was awesome! The driver, Chris, was just awesome! He was friendly and funny and seriously kicked us off the right way. It felt like he was part of our group as he fit in so well! He toured us to the clubhouse and educated us on the property. There are two stunning homes that can be rented for groups or retreats while using the golf course. We are totally coming back to stay in one soon! We arrived at the club house and admired the course. It was meticulously maintained and the day was absolutely spectacular weather wise, so the course showed off with the incredible sunshine. What a nicely appointed course We walked into the facility and what a beautiful, and impressively done space the clubhouse and restaurant was! This would be a fantastic place for a fancy wedding or corporate event! The restaurant was fantastic! The service was seriously out of this world! We were treated like we were celebrities by the entire staff! We literally ordered every sandwich on the menu and had shared them all to vote on what we thought was our absolute favorites, the burnt ends, and pot roast melt were out of this world amazing!! The cheesesteak was also fantastic!! The restaurant is tastefully decorated, but I have to say, I loved that they had pull tabs as well!! I mean, who doesn't like some good pull tabs in Minnesota? Ha! Aaliyah was one of our servers and she took amazing care of us along with all the staff. After lunch, we had to make a visit to the pro shop, again, so impressed with the selection of items and the amazing service from the staff. Perhaps it was the high from the day or it could have been the sensational drinks at the bar, but the retail therapy was alive and well that day!! Well, as you can see, our experience was absolutely wonderful. Now, please, go see for yourself!!

Very clean, king bed, updated bathroom, back porch, and a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, and sink. We walked to explore around the different areas of Maddens, and the grounds are beautiful! There are tons of activities including a pool, fitness center, tennis courts, croquet, paddle boarding, ice cream shop, gift shop, golf courses etc. The staff working at all of these locations were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We golfed The Classic, which was awesome as well. Maddens also offers a few different restaurants which have great food. I came here on a work trip so I can't speak to the price/cost of the stay, but I do think this place has a ton to offer for a wide range of ages.

Almost impossible to really even putt after hitting the "temp green", so I simply picked up and marked a par. I have played 15 rounds of golf in Minnesota over the past 25 days, and was pleased to walk on to this course and pay a fairly low rate after playing a number of local "resort" courses for three times the cost. The course is in just beautiful shape with well cut grass, a challenging first cut of rough, and a very difficult sawgrass kind of rough in the secondary areas. Other than the expected leaves, the greens were magnificent and very challenging. I really enjoyed this course and will be back to play again.

They also have a swimming pool and game room. Bingo on most Saturday nights and all the essentials inside the store. Parks and disc golf course are some other things to do while here. Parking is easy as long as you check in and we love that they offer a discounted rate for an all day golf pass and will rent clubs and pull carts if needed. They also allow golf carts on this course and in the RV park. Lake close by to fish on and you can park your boat.

Marshals were no where to be seen and we had a group of 4 in front that was two full fairways behind the next group. The course itself is in great shape. Good greens and very nice fairways. However, for $160 a round there should be signage for pitching area. The equipment should have better maintenance not to mention some new technology. I would not cone back here until they upgrade. Especially for the price they charge.

We usually have drinks/appetizers in the clubhouse afterwards and they have really good food. This last time my husband and I split the meatloaf burger which was very creative and super delicious. We always have fun when we golf here!
