But, alas, since our home is more than 25 miles from the store, Home Depot was unwilling to either send someone out to measure or to install. The nice HD sales person said she had lost many sales because of that policy. HD needs to learn about customer service! Since McMinnville has a Lowe's outlet, which is about 40 or 50 miles away, we thought we would given it a try. To our surprise (after our HD experience), Lowe's had no problem with our home being an hour away from the store. For a small fee, tied to some extra miles beyond a maximum for which there is no charge, our windows were measured and later installed. We found the Lowe's employees very easy to work with. The window treatments arrived on schedule, look great, and were much more affordable than if he had ordered from Budget Blinds at the coast. We strongly recommend the McMinnville Lowe's!

The custom nature of these orders means there is a wait time, but we were in no rush and were very happy with the products we got. I will highlight that we specifically asked about low VOC finishes and were assured that's what they use. When our bed arrived, it had no smell. Our dresser does have a very strong smell and it does transfer onto clothes still, even though we aired out of room for a day after it arrived, wiped it down, and it's been 4 weeks now. White glove delivery was also included and both times (it was two separate orders, months apart) the delivery people were professional and were careful about placing items where we wanted, and not damaging anything while entering our home / navigating stairs and tight corners.

I purchased a shower conversion from Kohler/Pacific Bath in early 2023 replacing a 35 year old bath…read moretub. The installers arrived on time, had all of the equipment he needed and did the demo. Unfortunately, we found I had water damage due to years of leakage. This needed to be repaired and it stopped work. The repairs were done that weekend and they came out a couple of days later and did a good job getting the done quickly. This included sending out someone to retexture the walls and ceiling where they worked to ensure it was seamless. I haven't had any major problems at all but noticed after a year or so that some of the hand rails were getting loose. I called Pacific bath and they sent a person out quickly who tuned everything up. While there he noticed a small issue at the top of the shower that we had not seen. He reported it and Pacific Bath sent someone out today to replace the entire wall! They could have short cut the repair with caulking but no, the installer said they wanted to do it right. I am very impressed with their customer service and appreciate the extra steps they took to ensure I won't have future problems. I highly recommend them if you are considering a conversion.

When I requested a rebate for the value of my time (3 extra days of sitting around my house, either waiting for them to show up or being here while they were working), they refused to give me any credit. They offered me a gift basket, which mostly consisted of crummy items from Kohler that they probably got for free from the company. If I could give a 1/2 credit, I would add it for their installers, who were great, but their management team was worthless. Once they had their money they didn't give a damn.
