When, after a survey the boat was found to need a few upgrades -Tom stepped in and got the work done immediately. And at no cost to me. Took delivery today and Tom helped get the boat clean and sorted out how my truck would best trailer the boat. As a final gesture, he gave me two co2 fired floatation vests that I admired. Could not be happier with my experience. This review is the least I can do to say thank you.

The weather was beautiful, the views were stunning, but most importantly, Captain Dale and Victor were incredible hosts. Despite being not the best time of year or day, we hooked about 15 fish, got four salmon in the boat, and even caught and kept one delicious coho salmon! The boat is a marvel. Great tech, comfortable, and even has a bathroom. It is a smaller boat, our party of six was pretty close when we were all outside the cabin. But that is exactly what we were looking for as part of our family reunion. A.J. kept things moving with 2-3 poles in the water at all times. He was extremely knowledgeable about the boat, sound, and fish. I expect his father, the other captain, is almost as good! Highly recommended!!

If seeing killer whales is on your bucket list, prepare yourself: witnessing these magnificent creatures for the first time was absolutely magical and may bring you to tears as it did for me. Although it was rainy and the water was choppy, the boat handled it beautifully. The ride was fast and smooth, and no one got sick. I highly recommend bringing a poncho, wearing extra layers, and expecting your shoes to get wet if you plan to stay outside for a while. I stayed outside because this was one experience I was not going to miss! Highly recommend!

As…read morea bystander of sorts, the Port of Edmonds Marina offers a wonderful little promenade walk that goes through the marina and shipyard providing both water view and peeks at the workings of this charming marina. The mission of the Port of Edmonds includes waterfront public access, which I greatly appreciate. It also has a mission of environmental stewardship. I appreciate the port because of these public goals that affect those who do use the port in the fullest sense. While taking walks between Brackett's Landing and Marina Beach Park, hug along the water to find the walking path behind Arnie's, Anthony's that cut through the port. The fishing pier is charming. I always stop to see the boats being lifted out of the water. They have two methods. One uses two bands that looks like it can carry a whale. One is a lift. A fork lift with two very long prongs gingerly drive the boat to its dry dock spot. It is fun to watch every time. From the Marina Beach Park side, find the sign that reads Port of Edmonds Promenade for the entrance.

That is not true. There is only one available at a time and we knew we were going to be traveling heavily over the next few months so had checked different locations and none were available. Some of the markets we couldn't even check because they were on "a different booking system" so how would you even book it if you wanted. Also, if you want anything but a basic boat there is an additional nightly fee. And what really broke the straw was they advertise its pet friendly. Thats the case only on a couple of the boats otherwise NO PETS! There were also a lot of timing rules and booking rules. It actually just made it very difficult and confusing if and when you could rent something. We will stick just to having our own boat and renting one locally when we are traveling.

Derek and Judi are very warm and welcoming, and really do think of every detail for the evening. We greatly enjoyed the appetizers and large selection of drinks on the first leg of the trip over to Bainbridge Island. Also, Derek's music selection is great! :) I was surprised at how chilly it got once the sun went down, despite the air temperature being in the mid-80s, so I would recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket.
