When I checked my Ring camera afterward, I saw that the technician only sprayed the front porch area and left within about 30 seconds. Despite that, I was billed for a full service that supposedly included both interior and exterior treatment of the home. This happened more than once. Each time, the footage showed the technician arriving, spraying only the front porch area very quickly, and leaving shortly afterward. There was no full perimeter treatment and no interior service performed, yet the charges reflected a complete service visit. I contacted the company to raise this concern and explained that I had Ring footage showing exactly what was done. I expected them to review the situation and either refund the charges or address the issue. Instead, I was told that the charges were still considered valid. That response was extremely disappointing. As a homeowner, you rely on service companies to actually perform the work they charge for. In this case, what I was billed for did not match what was done. Because of this experience, I would strongly recommend that customers monitor their service visits closely and review any camera footage if you have it. Transparency and trust are important when hiring a pest control company, and unfortunately my experience with Yates Astro did not reflect that.

When we got to our new home we noticed a few little pests scurrying around, mainly the asian cockroach, the american palmetto (big cockroach) and a few silverfish. From what I understand, it's normal to see these bugs around here, but there are ways to kill them. When I called Yates-Astro they were very responsive via email and phone and were able to make appointments just a few days out. Uriah came by in the morning and was very thorough with the spraying. He explained that the solution (SAFE for pets AND babies) gets coated around the inside and outside of the house. As the pests clean themselves they ingest it and die. Expect 2-3 days of dying pests. He went in our garage, every room of the house and the attic. He laid traps in the attic also. The really awesome thing about Yates is that if you find a bug, you can text your guy and he'll come back and re-spray. They spray every 2 months and it costs $65 every other month. I sleep better at night knowing that the bad bugs are staying outside and not coming inside. *spiders are a different story, gotta kill them with fire
