A "gentleman" is at the gym at the same time as me speaking louding and dropping weights talking about "how he'd like to beat a b (expletive) into the ground." I have previously reported this man. The last time I did, the gym manager suggested that I get headphones so that I "did not have to hear him anymore." The manager also said "well he's a regular".... If you like chewed gum and nonworking machines with an owner and staff who doesn't seem to care--this is the place for you. Same owner with same attitude at the woodward and 8 location.

The electric hair dryers in the locker rooms are excessively noisy. They are registering over 100…read moredecibels on a decibel meter. One was reading out at 106 decibels. This exceeds exposure limits set by the occupational safety and health administration. But OSHA will not get involved unless an employee complains. But it's the members, not the employees, who are using the hair dryers, so there have been no employee complaints. In any event, PF should eventually confirm this problem and rectify it.

As someone who has visited several Planet Fitness gyms across the US, this has been the most frustrating experience yet. A few things I wish I knew before coming here: -You have to pay for street parking -There are stairs/elevator to the gym area, which is on the second floor -You need to have a WiFi code which is only on the first floor -The gym is pretty much a dead zone -The front desk staff is not very informative when asked specifically, "As a first time guest, is there anything I need to know?" Why does all of this matter you ask? Well, because I have never needed to ask for a WiFi code at any other location, and I did not realize I needed one until I had already started my workout. If you are like me, you may need your your phone for music, podcast, videos, or other things while working out. Having to pause my workout multiple times to go downstairs, only to still not get connected, completely ruined the experience. I hated it here! Lbvs I will not be coming back, and I would not recommend this location if you are trying to avoid unnecessary inconveniences. Addendum- before writing this review I contacted the phone number for the general manager that's listed on the business card at the front desk which just ended up being the phone number to the front desk. There's no number to get in contact with the manager.
