After speaking with the team, I ended up renting tables, chairs, a popcorn machine, and a cotton candy machine, and also added face painting and a beautiful balloon arch display. Everything turned out wonderful. The safari theme was brought to life perfectly, and my granddaughter absolutely loved the custom water bottle labels and chip bags that featured her picture. The balloon arch was gorgeous and made a great centerpiece for the party. The kids had a fantastic time, especially with the balloon animal take-home gifts. The staff was professional, helpful, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. I would definitely recommend them for any birthday party or special event.

Can't say anything good about this company. We had a wedding in my back yard on Saturday. All of…read moretheir equipment was old and ragged including the tent, tables and heater (that had to be reset again and again). The 20x40 tent was poorly set up. they only put 3 stakes to hold it in place. I had to install 4 of my own stakes to hold it down due to pretty strong winds on Friday. It also leaked during a rain storm on Friday, luckily it didn't rain on Saturday. They also did not review the equipment inventory and get a sign-off for it. Thank goodness there wasn't a discrepancy, but they did take one of my personal propane tanks. I had to call them to ask that it be brought back, which the owner has promised to personally do before Thursday. That said, the worst part for me was that there was very little communications on when they would install and remove their equipment. They just showed up and didn't have the common courtesy to let us know they were there. I could hardly believe it when they showed up unannounced in my back yard before 10:00 am Sunday morning and began removing their equipment (remember, the wedding was the night before). When I confronted them they complained that all of the decorations were not removed from the tent and that the tables and chairs weren't properly stacked for them. Very unprofessional business in my humble opinion.

A-1 Rental saved the day!…read more My daughter was scheduled to have her bat mitzvah in December. In Michigan. During a global pandemic. But this date had been scheduled for years, and changing it was not in the cards. Once the vaccines were available, including the ones for younger kids and boosters, we were cautiously optimistic about holding a smaller event indoors. Then the specter of Omicron raised its ugly head, and we reconsidered the wisdom and safety of pulling off such an event. With less than two weeks before the event, we decided to pivot and try to move it into a tent in our yard. In December. In Michigan. A-1 Rental was able to make it happen! Some other tent company told me they wouldn't even try to put up a tent in December. But A-1 sent a crew to my house to check out the property, assessed the largest tent they could pitch, and gave me a list of things to do before it could safely be installed. Namely that was to call Miss Dig and cut down a low hanging branch. The sales team was great and hooked me up with everything I needed, and maybe even things that I didn't need but I really wanted. They said one tent heater would be sufficient, but I wanted two. Plus I wanted a crap ton of extra propane tanks to run those bad boys. I have to say, tent heaters are magnificent! They kept us toasty in a tent that was well ventilated on a below freezing December afternoon. The day before our event, the setup team came within the scheduled window. Consulted with me about where everything should go, and got the heaters working. Actually, one wasn't working, but they sent another team to fetch a new one. The day of the event, one of the heaters still wasn't working, but a new crew came with a functional replacement. I don't think our guests even knew anything happened. We got to keep the tent for the whole weekend, which was rad. The propane supply held out. And the pickup crew took everything away as scheduled. No muss. No fuss. For those concerned about how everything worked out from a COVID perspective, we required everyone over five to be vaccinated, and provided rapid tests so everyone could check the morning of the event if they were contagious. We even sent some additional tests home with folks so they could retest before returning to their families. Everyone returned happy and healthy! And we could not have pulled this off without A-1. Thank you for the speedy turnaround and for working with this needy father on the verge of panic.

I rented a helium tank from here for a birthday party and was really happy with it ! However , when…read moreI checked their website it said they sold and rented helium tanks which is a huge deal because helium Is in a shortage . I called to confirm and they said yes but I had to physically come to the store to reserve it 24-48 hours in advance and pick it up . No phone transactions . Once I got there I decided to buy the tank because the cost of rental was nearly the same ( per their site ). It was then explained to me that the prices on their site are not for regular customer it's wholesale only and the new cost was about double. I was confused and then decided again to just rent it as I'm too far down this rabbit hole . There was a lengthy procedure of printing out too many pieces of paper , ( wasteful ) , signing a bunch of stuff then driving to the side of the store to have a guy load the tank . What wasn't explained to me was it's a large steel tank . IE it's heavier than you can imagine . Not possible to lift on my own or with two women . The guy at the loading bay asked if he should load it in the car or would we do it . Uhhh ? Duh ? Once we got it home we had a big problem getting it into the house . It was awesome for the party though , i blew up close to 500 balloons and we loved it . After, we asked to buy the tank bc taking it back and buying another seemed silly . We were informed the steel tanks are for rental only and aluminum tanks are for purchase . So we had to bring it back and exchange . The price had also gone up .When I checked the website again to prove them wrong , they had changed it . Suppose all my Inquiries caused a issue . We took it back and ordered a helium tank from another company for a cheaper price delivered to my door . I should mention the store is really awesome for a variety of latex and Mylar balloons . They don't blow up anything they only Sell product . Any thing you can think of they have it in the store . Party favors , supplies , things I had never seen . There are no prices though and everytime I asked it had to be looked up on the website then they added a few dollars for a regular customer . I ended up Purchasing Mylar dinosaur balloons from amazon in bulk , it was much cheaper . I'm gathering this is a majority wholesale company with a public storefront .
