Bought our Tucson because they gave us the best deal and highest trade value. We got a bunch of things thrown into the deal cuz I know how car sales works. The Tucson is still holding up well after 2 years and the service department treats us pretty well. We got the lifetime oil change package but that means we need to bring it here every 6000km. The parts manager is pretty helpful. He usually gives me a deal on parts especially since I'm usually buying for two vehicles (mother in law has a top of the line Tucson). I've gotten good deals on engine and cabin air filters cuz I bought 6 of each at once. We also got a discount on two sets of winter tires on rims. During the pandemic they don't wash the service vehicles which sucks but is understandable.

Great service at Northstar Hyundai, from the service advisor to the parts-person, mechanic (who you rarely interact with at a dealership). Administration staff. They all work together to get your vehicle safely drivable again. Lobby has comfortable seats, coffee available, Tv to watch, free GoWifi to use while you wait and vending machines.

When it's -50 life is stressful enough, NEVERMIND having your car just stop moving in the middle of an intersection in that weather. With that said, I needed to begin the search for a new car! I'm so happy I made the call to Northstar Hyundai. I get uneasy going to a dealership as it is, but the team here, especially Chetan, made it the easiest, most comfortable visit I've ever made to a dealership. He really went above and beyond for me and the team made it possible for me to get the car I wanted. Always welcoming you with a smile and actually making you feel like you're more than their commission. They truly worked their magic and I drove home in my new car today! Huge huge thank you to Chetan & Trevor for doing everything you did for me, I can never repay you!

This was the spare key that was given to me by Hyundai. They contacted me to say that the previous owner dropped it off. Didn't say broken..

I returned the vehicle to the dealership immediately. After their inspection, I was informed that the steering wheel angle sensor was broken and the lower control arm was damaged. The dealership claimed these issues occurred after delivery--even though the vehicle was returned the same day--and insisted that I pay for the repairs. Given that these mechanical parts could not have failed immediately under normal use, I raised my concerns. The dealership's sales manager, R.C., refused to issue a refund and instead asked me to cover the repair costs. Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

Unfortunately, this excitement quickly turned into significant frustration and genuine safety concerns. About an hour into our drive, the cruise control abruptly disabled itself without warning, only to become available again 30 minutes later. This unsettling cycle repeated five more times during our journey. Given that this was a brand-new, expensive vehicle, purchased specifically for family & business road trips, experiencing such a fundamental issue was alarming. When I contacted Norden Volkswagen, I expected swift assistance, especially after my salesperson explicitly promised immediate support and a quick loaner car if any issues arose. Contrary to that assurance, it took four weeks to even get my car into their shop. Once there, I was informed this is a known issue affecting 2025 VW Atlas vehicles, particularly in the prairies, with no fix expected for at least two years. Feeling misled, I requested a manager's attention. Despite multiple assurances from my salesperson, three weeks passed with no response. Upon following up, I was vaguely told about staff turnover but promised prompt attention--which never materialized. The situation worsened dramatically. Another issue arose when my gas tank cover wouldn't open, forcing me to pry it open manually, causing further damage. Only after persistent outreach did Norden Volkswagen finally respond, claiming turnover as the reason for delays--though suspiciously, the original sales manager from my initial purchase suddenly reappeared, leaving me confused. When I asked for a full refund, the dealership refused outright unless I accepted an $11,000 penalty--completely unreasonable considering these defects were never disclosed and addressed weeks after the purchase. They persuaded me to let them examine the car again, but things escalated dangerously during my next trip. Twice, while traveling at highway speeds (~110 km/h) using cruise control, the vehicle unexpectedly and sharply braked, dropping to 60 km/h almost instantly. Both incidents occurred without any apparent reason, greatly risking our safety and terrifying my passengers and me. Despite reporting these frightening incidents, the dealership's response remained dismissive and ineffective. After yet another inspection, Norden Volkswagen failed to acknowledge most issues I reported, addressing only the gas cap while ignoring serious safety and technical faults. Astonishingly, their proposed "solution" was merely to disable part of the drive assist system on my brand-new luxury vehicle. My experience with Norden Volkswagen has been deeply disappointing, frustrating, and dangerous. Their refusal to take accountability and adequately address these serious, known issues has undermined any trust I initially had in this dealership and Volkswagen as a brand. I regret not staying with more reliable brands like Toyota or Honda, which provided consistent safety and reliability. Potential buyers, please thoroughly research before purchasing--your family's safety may depend on it. Update (June16,2025): The dealership has doubled down on its lack of accountability. Their only "solution" was to text me a link to the Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP) and leave me to fight this battle alone. They refused to alert Volkswagen Canada to the safety issues, insisting I make the call myself. Adding insult to injury, service claimed they "couldn't replicate" the sudden‑braking failure. My odometer proves they drove the Atlas a grand total of 3km--hardly a serious test for a highway‑speed defect that endangers families, friends, and business colleagues. This sham of an inspection underscores what I now see as blatant negligence and a complete absence of duty of care. If you value safety, integrity, and even minimal customer service, steer clear of Norden Volkswagen and the broader Go Auto network. Once they have your money, you--and your safety--are on your own.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Be Careful With the Advertised Deals…read more I normally don't write negative reviews, but my experience with Go Nissan North was extremely disappointing and frustrating. On August 8 around 9:30 PM, I submitted an inquiry for a red Nissan Rogue demo listed at $30,900 with 0% financing for 60 months. Around 9:45 PM, a salesperson named Christine called me. Yes, it was late, but I answered and specifically confirmed the $30,900 price and 0% financing for 60 months before agreeing to come in. An appointment was booked for 2 PM on August 9. My wife and I drove approximately 30 minutes to the dealership based on the information that had been confirmed with me over the phone. Once we arrived, suddenly I was told that the vehicle was considered used and could not qualify for 0% financing. Seriously? This was the exact financing offer I had specifically confirmed before making the trip. If the salesperson didn't know whether the vehicle qualified, that should have been checked before calling me, confirming the offer, and booking an appointment. I told him directly that I felt we had been lured into the dealership. Had I been told the truth beforehand, we would not have wasted our time driving there. Then the story changed again. After speaking with the manager, I was offered a new 2026 Nissan Rogue at approximately $32,500, 0% financing for 60 months and $0 down. We negotiated the deal and agreed to 5 years of free oil changes and one detailing per year for 5 years. We agreed to move forward. Then came the next problem -- the color. We wanted GRAY. I was told they didn't have the gray vehicle available at the dealership. This was surprising because their own website showed the gray color as available. I still agreed to proceed and told them to bring one from another dealership. The salesperson went back to the manager and came back with another surprise: $250 to bring the vehicle from another dealership + $250 because we wanted a color other than black = $500 additional. I agreed to pay the $500 because we specifically wanted gray. The salesperson then told us he had contacted nearby dealerships and would have an answer the next day because it was already around 4 PM on Sunday. He specifically told me: "I will call you first thing tomorrow." Before we left, he again tried to convince us to take the black vehicle because it was "a good deal." No. We had already made it clear that we wanted gray. On August 10, I called around 12 PM because I had not heard anything. I was told he had just started work and was talking to the manager and would call me within an hour. Four hours passed. No call. I called again. I was told he was still talking to the manager and would call me back. At this point, this is beyond frustrating. We went to this dealership because of a red Rogue advertised at $30,900 with 0% financing for 60 months. Instead, we experienced: Financing terms that changed after we arrived A 30-minute drive based on information that apparently wasn't verified Multiple changes to the proposed deal An unexpected $500 charge for the color/vehicle transfer A vehicle supposedly unavailable despite the website showing availability Pressure to accept a color we specifically said we didn't want Promised callbacks that never happened Hours of waiting for basic answers Extremely poor communication From a customer's perspective, this felt very much like a bait-and-switch experience: advertise an attractive deal, get the customer into the dealership, and then change the terms once they're there. What makes it worse is that I confirmed the original price and financing over the phone before coming in. A dealership should respect customers' time and provide accurate information upfront. If a vehicle doesn't qualify for advertised financing, check that before inviting customers to drive 30 minutes to the dealership. If the gray vehicle isn't available, say so before negotiating and making a deal. And if you promise to call a customer back, actually call them back. I am extremely disappointed with how this entire situation has been handled. This isn't how I expected to be treated when purchasing a new vehicle. Go Nissan North -- I hope management takes this seriously and reviews exactly how this customer was handled.
