Their communication skills , their socialization with the public , their ability to care for their patients . My puppies were all sick. At first only one was sick then the other smaller puppy. We had a water leak inside the wall and had rat poison in there as well. We had originally thought the rat poison had gotten in the water which had run out on the floor and they were licking it . One got well but as she was getting well the boy passed away. At the same time our 2 older puppies were getting sick as well. We are on a fixed income and had some provable hardships very recently. So we were looking to get help at this point because the older puppies hadn't gotten into the water. I called them and explained my situation and that I didn't have much money. They told me to head that way and they would help. Once services were rendered they demanded I pay at least $191 for services (no MEDS) or else they would call the police on me. I said well I wanted to set up payments , that I only had $80. I didn't have anywhere else to get money and that was all I had. So she had told me to let her go speak to the doctors. she didn't even come back in there until the nice lpoliceman they called arrived. Praise be to God he paid the remaining amount of what I owed so I could take my puppies home with meds mind you. My one puppy is now well but I'm not so sure they didn't either drop or mistreat my other one as they asked me to wait outside while they took my puppies back in to place water underneath their skin for hydration and kept him in there for a very long time as compared to the 10 or 15 minutes the other one was in and out. My male puppy isn't much better still shaking since we left there still not active and not eating.bi have contacted a attorney . These people are not friendly and when they make a huge mistake they don't apologize or act like they even care about the quality of care they are giving your sick pet. I will never go back and pay their sky high prices either. I've never been treated so poorly at a Veterinarian Office. Don't waste your time here. read more

Phenomenal staff that truly cares about your pet. Dr. Susie and Whitney made our experience pleasant despite being there for an ear infection. My male dog, Rex, was in pain as his ears were inflamed and tender yet the staff handled him like a champ and were so kind, professional and informative. This speaks volumes as Rex, who is 115 lbs. was less than calm and relaxed, this can be very intimidating for most. I really can't conjure up enough great things to say about these two individuals in particular. I will be coming back for all Vet care needs. Thank you! read more

I use Northside Vet and have been very pleased with them!!! I have had my Rocky in there on several occasions with being shot in the hips with a 22, a snake bite, somehow got his tendon cut into in the back of his foot and had to call the on call vet and then continued with Dr. Dickerson. He is awesome. Rocky now has heart worms so still visiting often. I've taken my other 2 dogs also and one of them have heart worms also. The staff and other doctors are all very nice and helpful!!! We've seen Dr. Susie twice I think and Dr. Williamson once, and love them too. Rocky feels like it's his second home!! Lol. Thanks Northside Vet for making my animals feel loved when they're there and taking care of them. Also for calling to check on them once we've gone if needed. That means so much!!!!! I could not be more thankful for Northside and the care they have for my fur baby. My dog, Kujo, is constantly hurting himself so we frequently visit Northside. Due to numerous shots/staples/stitches Kujo isn't the biggest fan of going to the vet, but everyone at Northside goes way out of their way to make me and him happy. Since he is more comfortable outside, we now do all of our exams outside. They also make sure to have pill pockets ready for him (they're his favorite cookie) and usually give him almost the whole package. I've always had dogs and therefore been to many vets, everyone treats my fur baby as if he was their own. You can tell everyone loves what they do and will do anything they can to keep your pet happy! I can't say enough good things about Northside, all I can tell you is they're the best! read more

Staff was friendly but for the love of god dont be a concerned pet parent and voice those concerns. Last yearI took my dog to get spayed and that's the only reason I was even using this vet because they were the cheapest on spay prices. Well this was my first time taking any animal to get fixed and I was a basket case. Well fast forward to this year I wanted to take a male cat to get fixed and again they were the cheapest so I tried to set an appointment but they kept making me hold in the phone. I didn't understand what the issue was. Finally I was told there was a lack of trust so the vets didn't want my business. Apparently me being very scared and very concerned about the procedure when I took my dog last year that they felt degraded as vets. Well in this business your going to see very concerned pet parents and they will ask lots of questions! If you dont get that thg then this isn't the business for you! read more

This is a pretty long story... but here goes! On January 11, 2015, my Pomeranian, Persia, was hit by a speeding car. My husband scooped her up and took her to the nearest Veterinarian, which happened to be Northside. I just couldn't bring myself to go, but drove over immediately after he left. My husband got there about 3 minutes before me but called me right before I got there, saying that there's nothing that they could do. They had already closed before I got there, but they let me right in and led me to the room that she was in. They let me visit with her before packaging her up. I asked for her to be wrapped in her blanket, which was no problem at all. The Doctor wrapped her up in her blanket, and placed her in the box. I left, but my husband stayed in there to take care of her and the bill, but they didn't charge a thing! I was extremely distraught but was so extremely grateful that the Doctor took his time to examine her and never even charged for the box. In September 2016, my daughter found 2 kittens in the road that were too small to crawl, much less outrun a car, so she brought them home, we started taking them to Northside for their care and are still patients there. You couldn't want a more friendly, caring, confident and clean staff and environment! It is usually a very quick, easy wait time and visit. They are very good with the "patient" and seem very confident in the treatment plan. They are very expensive when comparing them with other Veterinarians in the area, so be prepared to pay a "few" pretty pennies! Watch Instagram, they usually put your pets picture on there! read more
