Master Ali and his coaching staff go beyond teaching BJJ. They teach discipline, self-confidence, communication skills, and life lessons like how to deal with bullies. When demonstrating a technique, they ask the kids questions about it to keep them engaged and make sure they're paying attention. Everything at A-Team is earned, nothing is given. Stripes and belts aren't handed out just because you pay the monthly fee. When a kid makes a mistake, the coaches correct it; when a kid performs well, they get a compliment that reinforces their confidence. The coaches run a tight ship and don't let the kids run wild. I would highly recommend A-Team to any parents who want to help their kids learn self-defense and build self-confidence and discipline.

As someone who works out regularly and is also a coach myself, I really appreciated the balance of instruction and intensity. The community was great, the energy was even better, and I'm already looking forward to going back.
