Master Ali and his coaching staff go beyond teaching BJJ. They teach discipline, self-confidence, communication skills, and life lessons like how to deal with bullies. When demonstrating a technique, they ask the kids questions about it to keep them engaged and make sure they're paying attention. Everything at A-Team is earned, nothing is given. Stripes and belts aren't handed out just because you pay the monthly fee. When a kid makes a mistake, the coaches correct it; when a kid performs well, they get a compliment that reinforces their confidence. The coaches run a tight ship and don't let the kids run wild. Coach Kevin teaches the early morning classes. Class is structured in a light warm up, flexible technical workshop style back and forth with a partner, techniques, then free rolling. This is based on lack of professionalism. And a business that has coaches who are not being a multi-faceted role models and be involved. Coaches not not fully engaged in the indivuals training. I understand that coaches may be overwhelmed with multiple responsibilties training many athletes, managing schedules , or handling commitments. But this place needs improvement with communication, coaches need to be actively involved (NOT JUST PRESENT). Since January this year I referred one of dear friends to this place and pay for the invidiual sessions. Only to be disappointed that the trainers dont create training plans and understand feedback or show motivation and support. We validate by improvement and monitor progress because this is needed as this is a skill development by encouragment and positivity. In this case Coaches need to understand everyones perspectives and be more involved. (NOT ALWAYS ON THE PHONES) I am extremely disappointed and hope this business can be more involved with their customers. I have launched an investigation and a follow-up.

I went in thinking we'd do some light work and quickly realized I was very wrong. It was a full hour of nonstop movement, and I loved every minute of the challenge. Coach Osmar was incredibly technical, patient, and encouraging throughout the entire class. As someone who works out regularly and is also a coach myself, I really appreciated the balance of instruction and intensity. The workout pushed me in the best way while still making me feel like I was learning something new. The community was great, the energy was even better, and I'm already looking forward to going back.

I dabble in both Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu classes on a weekly basis. Morning and evenings classes for both martial arts are offered and this works perfectly with my work schedule.
