But the floors were sticky throughout the entire store. The coffee area was a huge mess. It was later at night, they were not busy at all, there were plenty of employees (none who were friendly), so I just couldn't understand why the store was such a mess. When I'm in the area, I'll continue to stop here for gas or to pick up a soda, etc. But it's certainly not up to Gate standards, especially since they pride themselves on being "The Publix of Gas Stations."

This is a newer Gate and seems to be less crowded than any of the other ones I have been in. The crew is pretty much all the same at the times I am there. They are great. Helpful and funny at the same time. Store is very, very clean for a convenience store. Products are all well placed and attractively displayed. I don't mind going here and due to the necessity of it will not stop patronizing this convenience store. Gotta have that gas and WHAT NOT.

As I was about to pull away, the nice gas station attendant tapped on my window and with the nicest smile and a "good morning" informed me that my gas tank lid was still open. I know this is a small thing, but simple gestures like that mean a lot. This has happened I hate to say before, and I have found that some people just don't care. I wish I had had the presence of mind to catch his name to tell him how that nice gesture made my morning. :-) P.S: was bothering me so much that I didn't catch his name that I drove back around to thank him properly. This station has gone through many updates over the years; they're always trying to improve. I remember the days when they had a little pay stand in the middle of the pumps (before paying at the pump was prevalent). A lot of the stores were closed And the customers size has tripled and no more employees were hired. So, while I was about the 10th person in line-I called Dames Point Pharmacy. They said they would take care of Eve for me. Imagine that! So, I went with Ernie yesterday to pick up his RX's. The entire pharmacy crew talked with both os us. SO REFRESHING! They inquired about our RSV and Tetanus shots. So, we agreed to update and get our shots. The young man gave me tetanus and RSV. I did not even feel it when he gave me my shots. I feel like they treated me like a queen. Sorry for the review, but I could go on-but I won't. Publix is far superior than any other Pharmacy.
