Had a great experience, especially with Torrey Scott. Now that's not normally a way to start a negative review right?? Well, I just bought a $90,000 truck and their thank you for that is a used and disgusting coffee mug.
I was so insulted that right there and then I swore to never return. What I asked for was a $22 shirt for my wife. They said they couldn't afford that unless Torey himself paid for it. But hey, give him this Tyler said (actual conversation between Torey and the Finance manager Tyler) and pulled this cup from his drawer.
Ok people, it's retailed at $22. So there's a minimum of 100% markup (that's how sales work). So it cost at max $11. I'm guessing $7-$8 is realistic. I bought a $90,000 dollar truck. They'd been better off giving me nothing. It's like tipping a waitress a penny for her service. What an insult!!!
That was issue one!!!
Issue 2:
Tyler (the Finance Manager) couldn't prove in any way that I wasn't getting charged for the Diesel engine he swears he got me. I had another dealership tell me that Lethbridge Dodge shuffled the numbers to make it APPEAR it was a no charge diesel. I called him on it and Tyler couldn't show it. He worked his calculator for 5 minutes talking to himself and eventually just started talking about something else and walked out. I've researched sales tactics for 2 months in anticipation of this meeting and he fell perfectly into the not so favourable sales con.
Issue 3:
Without getting into a long winded description of how it happened, I'm out a set of lug nuts for my truck. Torey says his manager will get a set to me but if the service up to this point is any indicator, I won't hold my breath.
I will rewrite this review if anything comes of this.
This review is an almost exact copy of the one I left on Google. It says pretty much how I feel and didn't think rewriting it made any sense. read more
