Purchased a new car in August 2018. It went back 3 months later for repairs. we have been taking it…read moreback every 3 months with a misfire problem. Dunlop staff tell me its repaired but return 3 months later with the same Misfire. this goes on for a couple of years. After telling them I don't want it back unless they repair it they find out the block is leaking coolant into the block and change the block. 3 months later it misfired again. They then said it was the wiring harness on the ignition. 3 months later it misfired. then they said they don't know what's wrong and cant fix it. Ford Canada said the same. I wrote to the owner of Dunlop who came up with a solution to put a monitor device in the car to detect the problem. This monitoring device failed also. After about 6 months it finally recorded the problem. They brought it in and changed out the fuel injector. First trip on the highway it misfired twice with smoke out the exhaust. Only if I knew how back their customer service was and that they didn't stand behind the products they sold I would never have bought a car from them.

I called Steve and he made it right by taking time out of his day to personally drive me to work and delivering the vehicle to my place of work later on that day after the oil change was complete. Not only did they wash they exterior of the vehicle but the oil change was on the house! I was very impressed with the way he handled the situation...a little goes a long long ways these days and I appreciate it.

Reid was also very open about all of the used vehicles pasts that we looked at. We did decided to buy from a different dealership at the time because there wasn't a right fit for our family at Toyota at that time. Reid however was very influential in my vehicle purchasing and had me bring my car seat into the dealership to ensure it would fit, correctly installed in the vehicle that I purchased. We received 5 quotes from various installers ranging from $4,000 to $9,000 for a new one. Some came and looked at the job before quoting a price and 2 just quoted a figure. We decided to go with one that came and looked. A couple of installers said as a rule the chimney and flashing would be replaced without even knowing the condition of the existing one. One even said that the AC part would be replaced as well. The lowest quote came from Airtech. They didn't need to replace the chimney or AC cooling unit and even relocated our 2 wire thermostat system to a new location with a 4 wire system. The techs arrived exactly on time, replaced the furnace and were finished and out the door in under 3 hrs. They were very professional and extremely good at their job. Total cost with labour and GST was under 5K. Kudos to AIrtech and their installers. We would highly recommend their service to anyone looking to replace their unit.

At first, I had no issues with their service other than that the service department never really got back to me after multiple times calling. My actual reason for giving them one star is because they charged me 30 minutes of labour time to temporarily install a battery, as I had forgotten to put mine back in. Now for some very niche cases, I understand it taking that time to install, but mine literally takes 4 minutes to put in and take out. There's no stabilizers or anything (despite them claiming there was), just a positive and negative terminal that you ratchet on. They would not budge on this, despite having no real grounds to justify charging me. They removed a 1/2 hour of diagnosing because they didn't consult me before doing it, but for some reason installing a battery is different. They consulted me before doing diagnosis, and they should've consulted me before charging me $75 for doing a 5 minute job that I could've easily done myself. Why their flat rate for battery installation and removal is 30-minutes of labour time when the vast majority of batteries take 5-10 minutes max, I have no clue. Maybe they only hire 8-year olds in their shop.

A month after my purchase the back hatch stopped working. They attempted to fix it for a year, starting with all the small things which clearly were not the correct fix. By the time they got to the REAL problem, I was told I was shit outta luck and they were no longer going to fix my backhatch issue. I have been playing phone tag with the managers who still refuse to fix my vehicle. The back hatch was the number one reason I chose this vehicle and I havnt been able to use it basically since I bought it. I am not happy at all with this dealership and have stated so to the managers. They clearly are just trying to brush me off and not deal with the problem at hand. I will NEVER do business with them again nor will I ever recommend them.
