As a…read morefirst time parent there have been a few scares of sickness and me just wanting her to be checked out and they never had a problem squeezing us in. I will say the decor of the office is very outdated and not modern. And scheduling in the front office depending on who you ask always differs. Example: when leaving an appointment one day we were told our doctor would be gone a certain week so we had to schedule around that. We had a vacation that popped up so we needed to change what day we went in to the week the doctor would be gone but just see a different doctor. Called to change it and the person booked us for a day on the week my doctor was supposedly supposed to be gone? Super strange but we roll with it because our doctor is so great. Overall I'd recommend to anyone looking for a pediatrician! All of the doctors we have encountered have been very nice

At every appointment, there was at least a 30-40 minute wait. The doctor knows the job incredibly well. However, this doctor needs to work on the communication skills. This clinic charges $15 per child for medical records, even when you pick them up. I get the impression it's an exit fee. What I noticed most about the waiting area is that there were no toys, play areas or even televisions. This is one of the first places though, that I actually was present while they sanitized the waiting area. The staff there was very nice, from top to bottom. I am a very punctual person and one of my main gripes with the place was that I was not called back until 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I understand that things happen, but I like to stick to my schedule. Outside of not meeting my appointment time, this is a great place to bring your child. It is easy to get in and out of and my kid is very comfortable here.

They do not provide behavior mental health services they referred us to Riley. However, at my son's Physical every year, they ask questions about medication that he's on and how things are going. And then consistently charge us an additional charge. Whereas they do give us paperwork stating that if he is seen for anything "additional" that is not the physical at that appointment, we will be charged for it, they do ask questions that lead you down a path. I'm not sure how they expect me to answer questions on his overall well-being and medication's that he's on and not be transparent about behavior mental health as well. Overall, the office staff has always been great, but they have no problem charging you for things that might be ethically questionable.

She put two and two together, referred her for testing, and it turns out my daughter has a chronic disease that was probably just at its earliest stages. She listened to me, took seriously what I had to say, and helped us catch this serious disease at a time when we can put our daughter on medication to fix and maintain her health, hopefully over her lifetime. Had we not caught this so soon, my daughter could have faced multiple surgeries and complications. We are infinitely grateful to Dr Santos and her staff. The office that we went to back in the day was very children focused from the fun toys and books in the waiting room to the beds that had a play room under them. Great for the kids not so fun for the nurses and doctors that have to find hiding kids. Great place to hide from getting a shot. Well until you were found and had to come to terms with your new fate. Being a kid has lots of great advantages but being able to be picked up was not one of them. As I got older I remember Dr. B giving me stickers and being nice to me, she would do the normal doctor checks but made she rue that I was understanding what was happening and why. She wanted from a early age that doctors are good and that we need to take care of ourselves. Her nurses were also great at helping everyone feel safe and welcomed. From being in toys to sitting with you while you had to get a shot they new the tricks to help it be easier on there patients. We had not gone here for a very long time but if we ever needed a doctor we know who we would see. Thank you Dr. B for being a great first doctor.

Dr. Martinson is wonderful. Absolutely one of the best doctors you could ever want for your kids…read more She cares, is very thoughtful, is super knowledgeable, and both my girls look up to her. That said, she's now splitting patients with another doctor kind of out of nowhere. And on top of that, and the reason for this low review, is the "$150 administration fee" for our kids that basically was announced in a letter in late October and is due in December (!!!). Who does that? No doctor's office has ever charged me money for doing NOTHING--it's like a "membership." This is literally a fee for nothing. The letter lists things they've always done and is like "well, now we're charging." It's a fee because they are doctors and can apparently charge a fee. So long story short, Dr. Martinson is a 5-star doctor. This is a 1-star decision. The staff is a bit hit or miss--we've had folks threaten to send us to a collection agency for being a bit late on payment while trying to sort things out with insurance and folks that are wonderful. But good lord, you basically drop another doctor in who we've never met and tell us that's our new co-primary care doctor, and charge us $150 for doing nothing. Not a fan of those decisions at all.

From my ped. in CO, to CA, and back to IN, this is the first time I have ever had such a negative experience with a doctor office and it is time to take my children elsewhere after 6 years here.
