She will never go out of her way to help you. She works like one day a week, so cross your fingers your child won't get sick on one of the other 6 days. As you can imagine we have had a number of different procedures from general tooth cleanings to tooth aches. Dr. Pulos and his staff have done a great job helping us keep our teeth healthy. They are also very gentle and sensitive to the fact that not every procedure will feel good. I haven't had an encounter in which it hurt terribly but on a few occasions I have hit sensitive areas. They stay ahead of the conversation by communicating when there might be a sensitive area or when to hold the chair a little tighter! Also offering a break to regroup if needed. As grandparents and legal guardians, we participated as needed and visited with her counselor for a few minutes at the end of each appointment plus occasionally had a few private sessions as well. Our granddaughter benefited greatly from their therapy. Previous attempts at counseling from other sources did not succeed. Riley's younger women counselors were exactly the right fit for her to relate her previous experiences, struggles, anxiety, and trauma. This fit was the primary reason for successful counseling bringing closure to her traumas. They also referred us for additional counseling in Mooresville so we could continue every other week and would not have to travel downtown to continue therapy if we choose to.
