The house we wanted had been on the market for a single day and would receive five other offers that weekend. I sent Todd the relevant financial records and he had us a pre-approval letter within an hour. We put an offer on the house that same day and were under contract by Sunday evening. Now we had to pick a lender. Our big national bank just couldn't compete with GCU's interest rates. It would've cost us $10k+ to buy down our big national bank's rate to match GCU.
